Styles Clemmons Styles Clemmons 6'2" | PG Princess Anne | 2026 State VA | Princess Anne ’26
Clemmons put together an outstanding performance for the Cavs when I saw him post 25 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1 steal vs. McLean. He is a broad-shouldered guard with incredible strength that was exhibited on both ends of the floor. Clemmons held his own when defending in the post vs. bigger opponents. He also helped his team control the glass, scored at will, shared the ball, and moved well without it. Clemmons also shot 4/6 from three.
Demontae Neclos Demontae Neclos 5'10" | PG McKinley Tech | 2025 State MD | McKinley Tech ’25
Neclos has something that you can’t quantify which is grit. With his team down by 20 at halftime of a mid-week 10am game, I thought they would pack it in and give up. But Neclos led both with his words and actions. He did not have a great shooting game (1/7 3pt), but he made up for it by collecting 4 rebounds, handing out 5 assists, blocking 3 shots, swiping 3 steals, and recording a deflection. He was also 3/3 from inside the arc, including a finish with his weaker right hand.
Patrick Nguyen Patrick Nguyen 6'1" | CG Seton | 2024 State VA | Seton ’24
Nguyen is like the director for the ensemble that is Seton basketball. From the lead guard spot, you’ll always hear him communicating with his teammates to make sure everyone is in sync. Nguyen is an incredible passer, but he can hurt you with his scoring too. He comes off screens for threes, and gets to his spots from the in-between areas. Nguyen can hit with an in-and-out pull-up from three or a step back.
Ulysses Young Ulysses Young 6'0" | CG Oscar Smith | 2024 State VA | Oscar Smith ’24
Young is a lefty guard who has a devastating left-to-right crossover, is fearless when attacking the rim, demonstrates good court vision, and is a reliable playmaker for the Tigers. He was named MVP after they won the George Long Holiday Tournament Championship.
