As always, Prep Hoops Indiana will be your one stop shop for all the latest news and notes throughout the evening. Let’s take a look at five of the biggest games to follow around the state tonight.
Fort Wayne Wayne @ Bishop Luers
This will be a battle for Fort Wayne supremacy. The Wayne General are 12-3 on the season after rattling off four straight wins, but will have a tough test having to go on the round this evening to Prep Hoops Indiana Class 2A #2 Bishop Luers. Led by Dereon Truesdale Dereon Truesdale 6'3" | SG Bishop Luers | 2025 State IN and Drelyn Treusdale, the Knights are 13-1 on the season. It’ll be a fun contest watching them go against Jevon Lewis Jevon Lewis 5'9" | PG Fort Wayne Wayne | 2024 State IN and company. Likely to be a high-scoring affair.
New Palestine @ Yorktown
There might not be a player in the state of Indiana having a better season, certainly in terms of a breakout season, than New Palestine junior guard Julius Gizzi. The Dragons have lost two straight, but took Class 4A #1 Lawerence North down to the wire on Wednesday and is still 11-4 on the season. Gizzi is averaging an incredible 30.0 points and 7.7 rebounds per game. Yorktown remains underrated as well at 9-6 with some impressive wins. Senior guard Kieran Tewari is having a good season for the Tigers averaging 14.7 points per game.
North Central @ Warren Central
Two of the best under-the-radar teams in Indianapolis with go at it this evening in a conference showdown. North Central is 9-5, but all losses have come to Top 10 teams and two of them were recently against #1 Lawrence North. Papi Rivera Papi Rivera 6'1" | PG North Central | 2025 State IN , Jaxson Bell Jaxson Bell 6'3" | SG North Central | 2024 State IN , and Tim Williams Tim Williams 6'0" | PG North Central | 2024 State IN gives them one of the more talented backcourts in the state. Meanwhile, Warren Central is 9-7 led by Robert Walker Robert Walker 6'3" | SF Warren Central | 2024 State IN and Jevon Guess Jevon Guess 6'6" | PF Warren Central | 2025 State IN . This should be a really interesting matchup on the east side tonight.
Princeton @ Evansville Memorial
Two of the best Class 3A teams down in the Pocket City will face-off tonight as 11-3 Princeton travels to 8-5 Evansville Memorial who is ranked #6 in Prep Hoops Indiana Class 3A Poll. Unsigned senior forward Tucker Tornatta is having an Indiana All-Star level season averaging 17.7 points and 8.7 rebounds per game while junior Luke Ellspermann Luke Ellspermann 6'0" | PG Evansville Memorial | 2025 State IN adds 15.1 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game. As for Princeton, junior sharp-shooter Jace Jenkins is putting up 21.0 points per game. Sophomore Edwin Holmes Edwin Holmes 6'5" | SF Princeton | 2026 State IN is one to watch as well.
Providence @ Christian Academy
For folks down near the river, this is the game to watch tonight. Christian Academy is on a roll right now sitting at 13-1, ranked #2 in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class 1A Poll, and recent wins over programs like Silver Creek and Paoli. Junior guard Joshua Renfro Joshua Renfro 6'2" | SG Christian Academy | 2025 State IN is averaging 21.9 points per game while shooting over 46% from three-point range. Classmate David Cook David Cook 6'3" | SF Christian Academy | 2025 IN is having a great season as well averaging 16.6 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. The Pioneers have lost two of their last three games, but are still 11-3 on the season and are ranked #5 in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class 2A Poll. Noah Lovan Noah Lovan 6'3" | PG Providence | 2024 State IN is the unsigned senior guard to watch in this one.
