The event featured a slate of four boys games with some of the top talent from the Southern California area. I was able to attend the event and here’s a look at some additional top standouts I saw.
1. Jay’Mari Redmond – Long Beach Jordan 2025
Redmond was a good scoring threat and ball-handler. He was able to consistently create his own shot and has a knack for the pull-up jumper in the halfcourt. Consistently able to beat his defender off the dribble and get to the basket. He’s a finisher at the cup. Good change of direction in transition; pushes the pace well.
2.
Will Overton

– Grant 2024
Overton is a long and lanky forward with the ability to handle the ball in transition. He’s athletic and active around the basket. Uses his length to rebound over traffic. Good face up shooter who can rise up over the defense. Can make strong moves off the dribble to get to the cup and draw fouls to get to the free throw line. Has a little playmaking to his game too.
3. Jayshawn Kibble – King/Drew 2026
Kibble stood out for his on ball defense. He did a good job staying in front of the ball-handler, sliding his feet and being able to force the ball-handler into traffic and into the help. Did well contesting shots too. Offensively, he ran the break well and was able to navigate the defense in the haflcourt.
4. Max Choi – Narbonne 2024
Choi was one of the best shooters at the event. A catch and shoot threat from three-point range. Did well moving off the ball, relocating and getting free from three-pint range. Squares up well with a good release. Good elevation shooting from the midrange; can shoot over smaller defenders and has a solid baseline jumper.
