Joshua makes his debut at the #38 spot in the rankings. He has shown his ability to score the rock from all levels. He thrives in the open court and is hard to contain off the bounce as he uses his craftiness to get the upper hand on defenders. Josh is a talented athlete with body control and a good feel for changing speeds and changing directions. He provides double-digit scoring and has proven to be key to his squad’s success.
Kinley Simmons Kinley Simmons 5'11" | SG Murphy | 2026 State AL (5’11/SG/’26/Murphy)
Kinley makes his debut at the #45 spot in the rankings. I have not had an opportunity to put my eyes on Kinley as much as I would like, but he is an athletic backcourt player who can score at all levels. Kinley’s game is built upon his ability to score, and when he is on the court, teams must be aware of him when the ball is in his hands or not.
Jayden Bass Jayden Bass 5'9" | SG Sparkman | 2026 State AL (5’9/SG/’26/Sparkman)

Jayden makes his debut at the #50 spot in the rankings and is one of the best 3-point shooters in the class. His ability to be a spot-up c&s guy is the strength of his game, but he will have to develop beyond that, being the primary production he brings to the floor. Teams will run him off the line, and he will have to be able to put the ball on the floor and create off the bounce.
Travis Davis Travis Davis 6'1" | PG Theodore | 2026 State AL (6’1/PG/’26/Theodore)

Travis makes his debut at the #61 spot in the rankings. He is a talented lead guard who plays with a ton of confidence. He shoots the ball exceptionally well from deep and manufactures points with put-backs, as he does a good job going to the offensive glass. He isn’t afraid of big moments, as he took some big shots in key moments of the game when I saw him compete at the Mountain Brook Thanksgiving Tourney. He is a PG who can score but also showed his ability to run the show.
Reid Winton Reid Winton 6'7" | C Huntsville | 2026 State AL (6’7/PF|C/’26/Huntsville HS)

Reid makes his debut at the #62 spot in the rankings. There is a lot of excitement surrounding Reid from his coaching staff, especially as he will be an added piece to the frontcourt depth once Caleb Harrison Caleb Harrison 6'9" | PF Huntsville | 2024 State AL graduates this year. Reid has good positional size and has shown a nice skillset on the inside. He scores it well around the basket, and his length is a factor as many opponents on JV do not have size that combats what he brings to the table. The off-season will be critical for Reid as he prepares his body for life on varsity.
Cooper Gann Cooper Gann 5'10" | PG Spain Park | 2026 State AL (5’10/PG/’26/Spain Park HS)

Cooper makes his debut at the #83 spot in the rankings. Cooper is finding his way on the varsity level and getting some good burn at times. One promising thing is that Cooper will have a level of experience as he steps into his junior season. However, we still have the remainder of the current season at hand, and Cooper has been solid and making the best of every chance he gets to get on the floor. I continue to see development as a player, and knowing his work ethic, I am sure the growth will continue.
