King Smith (KIPP Legacy): A 5’10” 2025 guard who has the strength and quickness to beat people off the dribble into the paint. He did a nice job of finishing in traffic. He could also light it up from 3-point range when he really got things rolling.
Vincent Ross (KIPP Legacy): A 6’2″ 2025 guard who is smooth lefty with a potent offensive game. He moves like a slinky with his long and lanky body when he’s slicing into the lane for buckets on layups and short jumpers. He can also create space and hit the perimeter jumper off the bounce. He is also a ball hawk who can be disruptive with his length on defense.
Morris McLiney (Pembroke Hill): A 2026 lefty guard who got a lot of things done with his activity and high motor. He had some solid takes to the basket where he was finishing in traffic. He also moved well without the ball and scored on some good cuts off the ball. He was also active on defense where he got deflections and he also had a nice chase-down block in transition.
Gavin Mock (Truman): A 5’11” 2024 guard who is solidly built and who can shoot it well from long distance. He can also attack off the dribble and stop on the dime to hit the pull up jumper. He has a nice ball fake from the perimeter to set up his drive game, which includes an effective spin move. I like how he also goes inside and boxes out bigger players for rebound position.
Braden James (Pembroke Hill): A 6’5″ 2025 post player who plays a strong blue-collar game inside. He is patient when he catches the ball in the post and he can score well in traffic with strength. He also scored on putbacks with excellent second and third effort plays on the offensive boards.
Aidan Lee Aidan Lee 5'9" | PG Grandview Highschool | 2024 MO (Grandview): A 5’9″ 2024 guard with good quickness and the ability to knock down shots from 3-point range. He did a nice job coming off screens and ready to shoot it off the catch. He also had a nice pump fake that set up his dribble drive for the mid-range jumper.
Leeric Torrence Leeric Torrence 6'6" | PF KIPP Legacy | 2027 State MO (KIPP Legacy): A 6’6″ 2027 forward who did some impressive things when he came off the bench. He has some solid perimeter skills, which included a 3-pointer and a jumper from the elbow. He used his length on the offensive boards and he runs the court well. The youngster has a bright future.
