He took what the defense gave him, often drawing the defense to create open looks. Ramnanan understands how to utilize a pick to set up his jump shot or a teammate. His off-ball movement made him extremely dangerous as he stayed on the move, constantly relocating himself for quick catch-and-shoot opportunities from deep. Fast, tight, controlled handles with a high level of accuracy on pull-up jumpers off the dribble.
Isaiah Brewington Isaiah Brewington PG Plano East | 2024 State TX started the game hot with excellent shot selections, nailing multiple pointers from quick swings around the arc and kickouts. His dribble, first step, and change of pace looked explosive, allowing him to navigate the court with ease. As a floor general, Brewington excelled at setting the tone, controlling the tempo, and setting up the offense.
Christian Brown Christian Brown 5’9″ | PG Clear Brook | 2027 State TX broke defenders down with quick, unpredictable moves. The freshman point guard was very shifty and elusive with his dribble and body movements as he navigated through traffic and around defenders. He’s already showcasing super speed for straight-line drives, possessing outstanding read-and-react skills, quickly assessing the defensive situation, identifying openings, and exploiting one-on-one matchups. As a go-to scorer, Brown was at his best with scoring in two or three dribbles.
Jerrick Guidry Jerrick Guidry 6’2″ | PG Clear Lake | 2024 State TX plays with impeccable balance, driving and pulling up, keeping a low dribble, using solid footwork, and demonstrating good body control.
Bernard Perez Bernard Perez PG Irving Nimitz | 2025 TX truly impacted the game defensively by rendering his man a non-factor. His quick feet pressured the ball, and his active motor off the ball ensured he stayed attached to his man, denying them the ball and eliminating any breathing room.
