Cowan checks all the boxes when it comes to what you might need at the next level. He plays with a high motor and he plays both ends of the floor. He jumps out of the gym but he can also use his shooting and soft touch to get his shots off. He has decent moves that get him open looks and he is a player that can only get better with more reps at the next level. He is a player you can bring to a camp and take a look for yourself but he can hoop.
When Cogswell came over it was up in the air on how he would fit in with this group and he has been a great addition because he is just out there playing his game and his role and he is playing with no pressure. He has come in early and done work on the boards and he has also come in and had some solid games in the paint and outside. It would be cool to see him paired up with Burgess, Staley and Taylor because that size could really hurt teams. Keep an eye on him, we have yet to see his best and that is scary.

Kohler might not be your typical hidden talent but his rise this year makes it seem like he did come out of nowhere. He has shown some elite athleticism and IQ out there and he is running the floor with and without the ball and he is being rewarded. When he is out on the floor you can be sure he will impact the game and that footwork is starting to really pop.
When you are on a team where 15 players have gotten in a game and 14 have scored buckets it is hard to standout, so in a way every player at PG is going to be hidden but Mikkelsen is starting to play a really important role as a big strong guard that can play against multiple players and he moves so much that it just makes it hard to put a body on him. He is a player that will go to work for any program on the court or on the football field. Dual sport athlete that is impressing this season.

If you are a small school that comes into Utah recruiting kids and are looking for a PG and you do not have Shepherd on your big board you need to add him right now. This kid is as tough as nails, he puts work into the weightroom and he is not afraid of the moment. He can shoot but he is really good breaking players off teh dribble and his strength allows him to finish through contact. He is by far the most underrated player on this AF team.
This kid has been a Swiss Army Knife for this young Westlake team. He has been shooting it well and he is averaging 17 PPG and he is also rebounding like crazy. Would not be surprised if he gets himself a triple-double this year. He is anothe rnext level small school impact player.
