Taos shows potential with their underclassmen prospects, clawing their way back into a close game down the stretch. Artesia will be an imposing program through the course of this season, bringing size and aggression among all their rotation players.

Kincaid is a tall forward capable of scoring around contests with ease due to his high reach, comfortable scoring layups without bringing the ball down. Comfortable getting up and down the floor quickly, Kincaid is active contesting shots in the halfcourt or transition situations. He recorded at least two blocks throughout this matchup. Capable of turnaround hook shots, he is already very advanced for a 2026 prospect.

Tough shotmaker, not afraid of a contest. Effective getting to mid-range jumpers or short floaters, always balanced on movement shots.

A willing offensive rebounder, Wadkins gives his all each possession. If given space, the guard can knockdown threes off the catch. If given a lane, Wadkins did well attacking open space for mid-range jumpers, changing space to react with opposing defenses. Assertive two-way players like Wadkins always help close the gap against bigger opponents.

Estrada is an effective glue guy, enhancing his teammates in a variety of ways. Effective crashing the glass on either end, Estrada put his body on the line for rebounds or loose balls. They were an effective decision maker in transition, grabbing a couple assists. Various teammates received well timed passes, creating easy attempts at the rim.

A big guard, Armendariz has no trouble finishing through contac, a very smooth scorer in the paint. The recipient of many entry passes, they did well contributing points in the paint when available.

High energy defender, created a steal and pushed pace, made pass although finish missed. Salazar got offensive board and put it back up to score the lay. Active attacking the rim immediately off the catch, the guard kept a consistent motor all game.

Rodriguez added value through high energy defense on the ball or in help, vying for position early. His energy created a few deflections, rattling opponents from their previous offensive flow.

The high energy lead guard has done well attacking the rim, utilizing his quickness with the ball to find openings. Effective finding space with or without the ball, the guard works hard to find driving lanes.
Ely was excellent with his help side defense, rotating quickly to contest or swat away shot attempts. From the offensive side, the forward maneuvered along the baseline for finishes at the basket. Capable of drawing fouls at the basket, Ely will be a valuable wing to follow over the coming seasons.
