Here are five players from the biggest classification that worked their way into the first update to the class:
#18 – James Fieser James Fieser 6'2" | SG Liberal | 2026 State KS , 6-foot-2 guard, 2026, Liberal:
This guy seems to be blowing up out of nowhere. He has turned in some big outings. He’s going to be looking to develop more consistency and help the team rack up some more wins. But his outbursts have been eye-catching. He can score in a variety of ways, hit the boards from the guard spot and get it to shooters off the bounce.
#29 – Reece Reidel Reece Reidel 6'3" | CG Mill Valley | 2026 State KS , 6-foot-4 forward, 2026, Mill Valley:
Mill Valley returned a ton of talent, but Reidel worked his way into the rotation and has been one of the team’s key cogs as a sophomore. He’s a versatile, inside/outside piece the Jaguars can move around. He’s a dangerous lefty shooter who has been consistently in double figures in scoring. Mill Valley will be looking to get on a roll as the season ramps up to the playoffs. Reidel gaining experience and developing in his role will help.
#33 – Enoch Rodriguez Enoch Rodriguez 6'3" | SG Blue Valley | 2026 State KS , 6-foot-2 forward, Blue Valley:
Rodriguez is a guy who can shoot it from the outside but is just as happy mixing it up inside. That makes him a versatile piece for the Tigers. He really gets after it on the glass, averaging 6 rebounds to go with 8 points per game. He can get it to shooters too, helping out with the ball handling and distribution.
#34 – Darrian Hammond Darrian Hammond 6'0" | CG Wichita Northwest | 2026 State KS , 6-foot guard, Wichita Northwest:
The Grizzlies are running one high-powered attack. They are 10-2 on the year, and they are doing it by running opponents into the ground. They have got a collection of guard who can run and attack. Hammond is contributing in the attack, getting to 9 points, most of which come in transition and off the dribble. Hammond got some good experience as a freshman when the team needed some help at guard.
#38 – Hudson Weikal Hudson Weikal 5'10" | PG Olathe East | 2026 State KS , 5-foot-10 guard, 2026, Olathe East:
Weikal is growing his role with the Hawks, who needed more help at the guard spot. He can shoot it, hustles without the ball and finds openings in the defense, even picking up shot opportunities in the lane. He makes good decisions with the ball and gets it to scorers in good position. Weikal is a hard-working guard who finds ways to contribute every time he gets on the floor.
