There were 15 teams from all over NorCal 1 from SoCal with quality prospects on the court. Here’s more standouts who caught our attention with their play.
Luke Lemke Luke Lemke 6'1" | CG Arcata | 2026 State CA-N 6’1 2026 Guard, Arcata: He brings good all around play. He has speed filling lanes in transition, he uses quality handles taking it hard to the basket along the perimeter. He plays both guard positions. He sees the court with good passing. He’s aggressive with foot speed defending. He exploded for 31pts to lead his team.
Tyler Wentworth Tyler Wentworth 6'5" | SF Central Catholic | 2024 State CA-N 6’6 2024 Forward, Central Catholic: A solid body two sport athlete (Football). He’s a physical player making good use of his body working inside. He goes after rebounds, on both ends, he had multiple put back points late in the game. He plays well off two feet inside using power moves and touch around the rim. He’s a ball mover on offense, sets solid screens before rolling. 16pts, 11rebs.
Jace Bernard 6’3 2025 W/F, Heritage: He’s a bit of a scrappy player willing to mix it up in the paint keeping the ball live and going for rebounds, and put back points. He has good length to work inside, and moves well along the perimeter coming off screens without the ball, cutting to the basket, he drove it hard a couple of times. He runs the court hard in transition.
Dwayne Gaines 6’2 2026 SG, Lincoln, SF: In this free flowing offense Gaines showed he can be a contributor. He has a jump shot with range, he hit short corner jumpers, pull-ups off the dribble, and he was looking to drop 3’s in transition. He attacked the paint with his dribble. Standing 6’2 he helped on the boards, he can handle in open court, and make the extra pass up. He’s on the Watch List.
Henry Dibble 6’4 2026 Forward, Marin Catholic: It was our first look at Dibble, for now he looks like a spot up shooter that can knock down 3’s from all the main spots along the perimeter. He runs to his spots ready to shoot. He had 5-3’s in a tournament game. He takes good shots, makes the extra pass around the perimeter. At 6’4 he’ll get a rebound. He goes on the Watch List.
Chris Kaufhold Chris Kaufhold 6'1" | CG Miramonte | 2024 State CA-N 6’1 2024 CG, Miramonte: He’s a hard playing guard that spends time running point, but does work off ball too. He handles ball pressure, pushes hard up court with good court vision. He had hard drives from different angles, and good kick-out passes after getting into the paint. He plants and gets defenders to react in the paint. He hit paint jumpers.
Michael Ule 6’8 2025 Center, Montgomery: He’s a legitimate post prospect with a good body, and hands to receive in the post. You can go to him inside, he has a jump hook, and a drop step, he’s a good passer from the low and high post. He has the size and presence to get rebounds, blocks, and effect shots on defense. He’s has work to do but a good upside.
Vince Crisp Vince Crisp 6'3" | SG St. Ignatius | 2025 State CA-N 6’3 2025 SG, St. Ignatius: He’s a rising guard in this class, and a key contributor in different ways on this team. He’s good out front on the defensive side with good alertness for steals, and setting traps. He’s a good shooter from mid-range out past the 3pt line. He’ll get dunks in transition. He has good handles, and quality passing in transition and around the perimeter. He’ll get a rebound and push.
Mawa Silvestro 6’4 2026 CG, Urban: He’s a newcomer with good length and size handling the ball. He handles a lot in half-court and in transition. He has good vision, and is a willing passer. He found cutters, and shooters spotting up for jumpers. He did good working his way into the paint, turning the corners, using his long strides and size for points in the paint including the short jumper. He hit a corner 3. He’ll help with the rebounding.
Todd Tatom Jr Todd Tatom Jr 6'0" | CG Ygnacio Valley | 2025 State CA-N 6’0 2025 Guard, Ygnacio Valley: He plays a balanced game giving good effort on the defensive side of the ball. He has good foot speed and quick hands generating turnovers, and steals at times. He’s a threat to score in different ways, using strong drives, change of direction moves into the paint after getting by the defender, he’ll pass or drop the paint jumper. He’ll slice his way in for transition points avoiding charges, he dropped a couple of corner 3’s.
