Continue ReadingIf Payson wants to keep making a jump and elevate their play they could look at Sweasy who has been solid but when he is aat his best is when he can rebound and assist the ball, it also opens things up for him to score. He could be a 10, 7 and 7 player and that is a great stat line on a balanced team.
In the last 6 games Hunter has been playing at a solid level. Cedar Valley has been close in some games but when Larson is scoring and rebounding they are tough. Larson has been close to averaging a double-double these past few games which allow him to be a grab and go guard that can push the tempo. He could be huge in the 2nd half of region.
Ben has been lights out for Riverton and he has been doing it on the glass and in the perimter. Really like that he is not a one dimensional player, he is a palyer that takes what the defense is giving him and he plays hard and that allows him to get a few extra rebounds here and there. He is a small school player to watch for sure.
Fairbanks has come out of nowhere to just light things up for Mountain View and he has this team playing well but they have not reached theor potential and neither has Fairbanks. He is good inside and when he is aggressive and relentless he is at his bast as a slashing big guard. He is too much to handle for smaller guards.
Evan Fraser
Evan Fraser
Small school prospect that also plays for a smaller school but he is having a great year. Fraser is putting up solid numbers and he still has the ability to really turn things up in the 2nd half of the season. Look for him to look at the long ball to help him even more.
