Continue ReadingCounty tournaments are starting across the Garden State as postseason play is about to begin. The Bergen County Jamboree is set to begin on Thursday and prospects have the chance to put up big games, especially in the 2025 class. Here are the 2025 prospects to watch in the Bergen County Jamboree.
Brady Loughlin Brady Loughlin 6'4" | SG Don Bosco Prep | 2025 State NJ , 6’4 SG Don Bosco Prep
Loughlin has had a big junior season and should carry it over into the Bergen County Jamboree. The 6’4 guard has a smooth release on his jumper and can knock down triples in bunches. Loughlin moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open layups and jumpers in the halfcourt. He can also get to the rim off the bounce and is an underrated passer. Loughlin is a sharpshooting guard prospect who is looking to continue his hot shooting in the county tournament.
Declan Wucherpfennig Declan Wucherpfennig 6'7" | PF Bergen Catholic | 2025 State NJ , 6’7 PF Bergen Catholic
Wucherpfennig has established himself as the go-to guy for the Crusaders this season and should build on it in February. The 6’7 forward has a good face-up game as he can get to the rim off the bounce and finish through contact. Wucherpfennig has a nice release on his jumper and can knock down jumpers from behind the arc. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and holds his ground on the defensive end. Wucherpfennig is a talented forward prospect who should put up big numbers in the Bergen County Jamboree.
Ryan Goldman Ryan Goldman 6'3" | SG Ramapo | 2025 State NJ , 6’3 SG Ramapo
Goldman has made an impact in his first season as a starter as he has been a consistent presence on the perimeter. The 6’3 guard has a good shooting stroke as he wastes little motion and sets his feet before he shoots. Goldman is more than just a shooter as he can also put the ball on the floor and finish around the basket. He slides his feet on the defensive end and rarely forces jumpers in the halfcourt. Goldman’s ability to stretch the floor is something that will help his game in a big way over the next couple of months.
Johnny Jackson Johnny Jackson 5'10" | PG Ridgewood | 2025 State NJ , 5’10 PG Ridgewood
Jackson has had a big junior season as he’s led the Maroons’ offense in 2023-24. The 5’10 guard has a quick release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Jackson does more than just shoot as he can also score in the mid-range and finishes nicely around the basket. He can find his teammates in the halfcourt and gets deflections on defense. Jackson has two 30-point games this season and has the potential for more during the Bergen County Jamboree.
Lucas Dipasupil Lucas Dipasupil 5'10" | PG Northern Highlands | 2025 State NJ , 5’10 PG Northern Highlands
Dipasupil has powered the Highlanders’ offense this season and should carry it over into the county tournament. The 5’10 guard rises up with confidence on his jumper and his range starts once he crosses halfcourt. Dipasupil does more than just shoot as he can also get into the paint off the bounce and finishes in a number of ways around the basket. He rarely gets rattled by on-ball pressure and slides his feet on the defensive end. Dipasupil is a scoring lead guard prospect who should continue his high-scoring ways in the next couple of weeks.
