Here’s where we were, and who we saw the last week of November in none league basketball.
Game 1: Tuesday, Nov 28: Branham defeated Lynbrook 69-48

6’3 2024 Guard led Branham with 20pts, 3-3ptrs. A big guard with good handles. He sets the offense, gets the ball up court with good passing. He can score on the dribble drive from different angles.
Ben Lim Ben Lim 6'4" | SF Branham | 2024 State CA-N 6’3 2024 Guard. He can handle the ball up top, passes well, he fills the lanes in transition, he has good lift on his mid-range jumper, he hit a couple of corner 3’s, had a few tap ins attacking the rim for rebounds. 15pts.
Game 2: Wednesday Nov 29: Burlingame defeated Mountain View in a first round tournament game at Westmont. 54-45.
A newcomer Anthony Atkinson 6’0 2026 SG gave a lift to his team off the bench knocking down 3-3’s. He’s an active guard with good footwork, and movement. 13pts.
Jayden Minor Jayden Minor 6'0" | CG Mountain View | 2025 State CA-N 6’1 2025 CG. A good ball handling guard aggressive on the attack. He pushes hard in transition, he might go coast to coast, or pass it ahead, he sees the court. He weaves his way through traffic to get into the paint for his points. He has the range to hit long 3’s. He’ll defend and help rebound. 13pts, 3asts, 3stls.
Game 3: Thursday Nov 30, first round of the Riordan Tournament. Game 1. Sacred Heart Prep gets by Granada 62-61.

6’1 2024 SG is off to a hot start averaging 16pts his first 3 games. He’s a confident guard putting up shots. He hit short jumpers off the dribble, had a quick release spotting up for 3’s, and he hustled up court for transition layups. O’Brien had 32 pts, 4-3’s.
JP Kerrigan JP Kerrigan 6'2" | PG Sacred Heart Prep | 2024 State CA-N 6’0 2024 PG. He’s averaging 18pts in 3 games. He’s an underrated point guard with good court sense, and steady handles. He does an excellent job running the teams offense. He sees the court for good passing, he can create shot opportunities for himself and others. He’s got the off the dribble mid-range that goes in, and he hits the open 3ptr.
Cortevious Taylor Cortevious Taylor 6'6" | SF Granada | 2024 State CA-N 6’5 Wing/Forward. He carried his team in a tough 1 point loss. Taylor was active outside passing, using his dribble, and body to attack the paint. He can square up and knock down jumpers from mid-range out past the 3-point line. He has the body and aggressiveness to go get a bucket in the paint. 18pts, 5rebs.
University handled Tamalpias 73-42 in a first round contest.
Cole Boake Cole Boake 6'4" | CG University | 2024 State CA-N 6’3 Guard has already signed for the next level. He shows he’s one of NorCals’s top prospects in the 2024. He’s an excellent facilitator, he can shoot it with range, draw fouls inside, he makes his free throws. We’ve seen him take and make the big shot when the game is on the line.
Will Perkins Will Perkins 6'5" | PF University | 2024 State CA-N 6’4 G/F is one of the more active players on the court. He has good foot speed going back and forth up court. He’s a finisher in transition taking it strong to the hoop, he has decent handles, uses hard dribbles to attack the paint for contact layups, or make the cut to slip in for the bucket. He’s a solid body who’ll get his fair share of rebounds.
Gus Fried Gus Fried 6'4" | SG University | 2024 State CA-N 6’4 Guard. He can hit 3’s spotting up in the corners, and along the perimeter or coming down in transition. He comes fast to the rim in transition. He has decent handles to drive into the paint for layups, and paint jumpers. He makes his free throws, we need to see more of this prospect.
Newcomer Auvin Cole 5’11 2024 Guard from Tamalpias was a bright spot in this blowout loss. He’s showed determination using his handles and quickness to generate scoring opportunities for himself and others. He can get into the paint, he hit a couple of mid-range jumpers with a hand in his face. He goes on the Watch List. 11pts.
Game 4: Friday Dec 1 Ygnacio Valley knocks off Valley Christian of San Jose in a close one 69-64.
Diego Martinez Diego Martinez 6'2" | SG JSerra | 2024 State CA-S 6’6 2024 W/F led Valley Christian with 31pts, 7rebs. He can put points on the board when he gets it going. He has the body, and strength to score inside, get his rebounds, and put back points. He can spot up in the corner for 3’s, he hit the elbow jumper. He got it going in the second half.
Antonio Kellogg Jr. Antonio Kellogg Jr. 6'3" | CG Ygnacio Valley | 2025 State CA-N 6’3 CG. He has the tools to take his game to the next level. He’s a long crafty ball handler, he can run the offense, he has quickness, change of direction, and plenty of moves to create shots for himself and others, he’s a willing passer. He’s a long excellent on ball defender. 19pts, multiple assists.
Loyal Morris Loyal Morris 6'1" | SF Ygnacio Valley | 2024 State CA-N 6’2 2024 G/W. He’s a quick leaper off two feet, at 6’2 he goes inside to challenge bigs, for rebounds, he’s good around the basket. He’s worked on expanding his perimeter game. His improved ball handling allows him to attack the paint with balance using spin moves and other ways to finish his shot. 17pts, 5rebs.
Jalan Cody Jalan Cody 5'11" | CG Ygnacio valley | 2026 State CA-N 6’0 2026 CG. He’s a solid body, does okay shielding the ball bringing it up court at times. He’s aggressive playing off ball looking to put up 3’s along the perimeter, and drive to the paint. He had the hot hand early knocking down corner 3’s and using his dribble, and body to get to the free throw line. 14pts 3-3’s
