With Murray playing extremely well this season despite not having a so called super start, they have relied on player like Poole who has a little bit of sze as a lead guard at times and off guard other times. If he is not scoring in double-digits he is doing a lot of rebounding and assisting. he finds ways to impact the game for sure. He is an underrated player to watch on this solid Murray team.
Highlights
Not only is Suguturaga a new name to know he is underrated as well. He has been a solid contributor and size at the guard position. He is shooting well and his rebounding is very valuable for sure.
Jonah is a junior on the rise and he is playing well as a glue guy right now for Layton. He has hit a three-pointer in every game he has played this year and he might get things going even more as in his last outing he had a solid game. Looking for him to really be impactful.
Bigger SG that has already nearly reached his production a year ago. He is on pace to triple his output. This kid is under the radar and the size he has really translates his skills to a small school. He is a player we are looking forward to watching.
Highlights
Whitlock has been playing some solid hoops, especially as an undersized forward who has been holding his own against some bigger players this season. He is a player that we could count on to get rebounds and score some easy buckets around the rim. Do not be surprised if he is out there getting double-doubles.
Argyle is a new name to really track as he has been off the radar, but the kid can hoop. He has been a solid 15 PPG and maybe a 7 rebound per game as well. He is a kid to keep an eye on.
Super sleeper and stock riser that is underrated. This season he has been having a solid year. 16 PPG and 3 rebounds and 4 assist is as solid as they come. He could really help Mountain View have a breakout this week. Fairbanks is a sleeper next level kid as well.
Brighton was featured in our surprise teams and they have been that way because they have had some surprising players step up like Christensen. This kid is underrated.
One of Layton’s weapons with size and inside/outside ability. He’s averaging around 7 rebounds and 3 blocks a game so you know he will be an impact presence in the paint. Really think he has next level ability. He is an underrated player we are looking forward to watching this tournament.
Underrated and a high motor player that has been putting together some solid string of games. Looking forward to watching this kid play.
