What more can be said about [player_tooltip player_id='1336443' first='Uriah' last='Tenette'] that hasn't been said? With big [player_tooltip player_id='1336442' first='Zane' last='Gaul'] out with a wrist injury, this junior Point Guard for Prescott dropped 48 points by my count and was everywhere on the court, doing everything and more. Uriah was obviously shook emotionally in the second quarter due to the medical emergency of his friend, but Uriah played absolutely lights out in this game. He had a back scratcher dunk in the first half, a right handed slam in the second half (he is left handed), and a stellar put-back dunk as well. He drained threes like a sniper, hit pull up mid-range jumpers, scored with acrobatic lay-ups with both hands at the rim. And he cashed in points from the charity stripe. Although [player_tooltip player_id='1336443' first='Uriah' last='Tenette'] is averaging over 30 points a game this year and leading the state in points per game, he is not just a scorer. He had a handful of assists and high flying rebounds and steals to go with his 48 points. He is a complete player. At this point in time, we need to seriously consider [player_tooltip player_id='1336443' first='Uriah' last='Tenette'] as the 4A Arizona player of the year. He needs to be leading this discussion even though he plays for the often forgotten Prescott High Badgers in the mountain town of Prescott, AZ. He is that good. His importance and value to the Prescott team cannot be overstated.

Coley Fundalewicz who plays guard and some forward for Prescott is the heart and soul of the team. At 6'2 Coley rebounds and plays like he is 6'6. He plays with a fire and tenacity that any coach would appreciate. His father Eric is the former head coach for Embry Riddle University, a NAIA university in Prescott. Every game Coley can be seen diving on the floor for loose balls, and getting steals with his quick hands. Although the score book and stats might not reflect the importance of Coley, his value is instantly apparent to anybody with a keen basketball eye. As Coley improves his handles and shot look for this junior to be on the radar of some small colleges next season. His type of play, though not flashy, is critical to the success of any team, and fundamental to team-basketball.

Costa Contreras, a football player and Tik Tok sensation, had his best scoring game of the season. He was the beneficiary of most of [player_tooltip player_id='1336443' first='Uriah' last='Tenette']'s assists, cutting adeptly to the basket and making some acrobatic lay-ups. If Costa can continue scoring in the low double-digits he will be a great help to Prescott as teams will no longer be able to solely focus their energy and defensive effort on Uriah Tennette. Look for Costa to keep improving as he gets more experience learning how to complement Uriah's uncanny ability to dish the basketball in the paint.
