Bobcat of Davies County Classic Round 1 results
One of the best in-state holiday tournaments kicked off yesterday with the Bobcat of Daviess County Classic at North Daviess High School. This tournament features some of the top teams in the southern Indiana including some of the top player to watch, which Brandon complied a list of here.
The first round kicked off yesterday with the second round starting today. Below are the results of round one.
Evansville Christian beat Paoli. Scottsburg beat Loogootee. North Davies beat Forest Park. Brownstown Central beat South Knox.
Scottsburg will face Evansville Christian and Brownstown Central will face North Davies in the semi-final games.
Keagen Holder Keagen Holder 6'2" | PG Morgan Township | 2024 State IN goes off, reaches 1000-point club
Senior guard Keagen Holder Keagen Holder 6'2" | PG Morgan Township | 2024 State IN joined an elite club last night in Morgan Township’s win over South Ben Career. In his 33-point performance, Holder also joined the 1000-point club as well. The 6’3 guard recently committed to play his college ball at Olivet Nazarene, as well. He is having a great senior year and will look to continue to roll with the Highland Tournament on the horizon.
Terre Haute North gets road win over Evansville Memorial
The Terre Haute North Patriots had one of the best road wins of the night. In a close battle, Terre Haute North defeated Evansville Memorial 58-54. Senior forward Braden Walters Braden Walters 6'6" | PF Terre Haute North | 2024 State IN had a game-high 21 points while also adding 6 rebounds as well. Senior center Tucker Tornatta had a team-high 18 points, 5 rebounds for Evansville Memorial. With the win, the Patriots improve to 4-3 on the year while Evansville Memorial drops to 3-3.
