12/12 – Los Alamos @ St Pius X
12/14 – La Cueva @ Valley
1. St Pius X Sartans – W 81-44 vs Los Alamos
St Pius was nothing short of dominant in this matchup. Los Alamos could never get a grip on this game, and Pius took advantage of their lack of shot-making. Jason Montoya Jason Montoya 5'11" | SG St. Pius X | 2024 State NM showed his all-around versatility and ability to contribute in the stat-sheet in multiple ways
2. La Cueva Bears – W 77-67 vs Valley
The Bears looked like a contender in this one, and though La Cueva lost a bit of momentum late in the game, they ultimately showed they deserved to win this game in the final moments. Cameron Dyer Cameron Dyer 6'3" | SG La Cueva | 2025 State NM went off, filling the stat-sheet and showing his hustle and motor.
3. Menaul Panthers – W 59-47 vs Legacy
This was somewhat of a rivalry game, and though Menaul struggled a bit handling the Legacy bigs, their guard play pushed them over the top. Nojus Zalenekas Nojus Zalenekas 6'0" | PG Menaul | 2025 State NM was able to pick apart the Silverback defense, and show his two-way skillset en route to leading the Panthers to the victory.
4. Valley Vikings – L 67-77
Valley put up a strong effort against the Bears, nevertheless they were not able to get over the hump even with their fourth quarter surge. Julian Chavez Julian Chavez 6'2" | SG Valley | 2024 State NM was everywhere in this game, sparking the Vikings’ late game momentum and coming up clutch in the final moments.
5. Legacy Academy Silverbacks – L 47-59 vs Menaul
Legacy had moments of potential comeback surges, but simply could not put together a complete game worth of good basketball. Bryant Scales Bryant Scales 6'3" | PF Legacy Academy | 2026 State NM was the main bright spot for this squad, dominating the offensive glass and keeping his offensive production consistent.
6. Los Alamos Hilltoppers – 44-81
Los Alamos simply did not look good in this one. They could not stop the Sartans’ flow on offense, and struggled with turnovers and missed shots on the other end. Niko Garcia Niko Garcia 6'1" | SG Los Alamos | 2024 State NM and Josiah Fresquez Josiah Fresquez 5'8" | PG Los Alamos | 2025 State NM were the lone bright spots for this team, each putting up 19 points.
