Here were some of the junior forward standouts:
Koa Peat Koa Peat 6'8" | PF Perry | 2025 State #6 Nation AZ Perry
Arguably the top player to defend in the AIA had his way in stretches with dribble drives for multiple and-1’s and was cashing in on his FT’s. He is a very quick second jumper to rebound, block shots or dunk it. He catches difficult passes in traffic and will go up quickly to score. He is a very good passer off of double teams and his footwork and size is almost too much for most to handle. He lives in the 10-feet and in area and his shot blocking keeps getting better.
Kingston Tosi Kingston Tosi 6'7" | SF Millennium | 2025 State AZ Millennium
The long and lean wing gets off the ground well to rebound and will block shots in his area. He uses counter moves to score in the paint and is a plus athlete. He runs the court well for easy points and will hit perimeter jumpers. He can crab dribble down into the post for position to score, and when he is playing well, they are a tough out.
Alejandro Aviles Alejandro Aviles 6'8" | C Dream City Christian | 2025 State #141 Nation AZ Dream City Chrisitan
An undersized five man with a high feel and skill in his game. He is a very good passer and will ball fake into dribble drives in traffic. His mid-range jumper is his sweet spot and he has a polished hook shot. His ability to make plays, be physical and play with a big IQ makes him attractive.
Andrew Bhesania Andrew Bhesania 6'8" | PF Boulder Creek | 2025 State #348 Nation AZ Boulder Creek
The versatile forward did some damage in all facets of the game. He has a high feel for the game and is a great passer. He can dunk it, euro in traffic and finish thru contact. He will step out from the perimeter and then work down low to score. He blocks shots in his area with great timing and gobbles up all rebounds.
D’Andre Harrison D’Andre Harrison 6'5" | PF Perry | 2025 State AZ Perry (Pictured)
He does play like a power forward but has wing skills. He can score it with mid-range jumpers, catch triples, floaters, down low hook shots and advanced post footwork. He will rebound at a good clip and block shots. His jump hook shot is hard to defend with his long stretched out arms. He is very efficient in everything he does.
Nate Smith Nate Smith 6'4" | SF Chaparral | 2025 State AZ Chaparral
A long wing forward takes very long strides to the basket and will rebound out of his area. He moves the ball for good shots and often cuts when he should. He can hit catch three with a clean release and rattle them off and can play a few positions on defense.
Jaylon Johnson Jaylon Johnson 6'8" | C Phhoenix Prep | 2025 State AZ Desert Mountain
The big man battled all week. He rebounds well and is moving better than he did even in the fall. He scores on spin moves and hook shots. He will block shots in his area and played more fluidly the second day. He is jumping better and it will be interesting to see him in 3-4 months.
Jaion Pitt Jaion Pitt 6'7" | PF Canyon International Academy | 2025 State #90 Nation AZ Canyon International Academy
Pitt had a good showing. He is trying to face up to the three but is still best inside. He scores on counter moves in the post, jump hook shots, fall aways and will dribble to the basket thru heavy traffic versus bigger players. He is a top of the food chain two-handed rebounder. He is undersized but just plays so hard and uses his length to his advantage.
