Weber High School (8-1)
Although they might not have the toughest strength of schedule they have been playing excellent basketball. Everyone knew thatthey were goingt oget all they could handle from Hunter Schenck Hunter Schenck 6'2" | PG Weber | 2024 State UT who always rises to the occasion and he has been delivering. The one player who’s sudden explosion on to the scene is Malachi Spencer Malachi Spencer 6'7" | CG Weber | 2024 State UT . That above the rim play, that attacking off the bounce has really turned heads and has helped them get off to a great start. Other players that have been playing their part are Jordan Oberholtzer Jordan Oberholtzer 5'11" | CG Weber | 2026 State UT , Will Stratford Will Stratford 6'6" | SF Weber | 2025 State UT and Tyler Payne. These guys can spread the floor.
Riverton High School (6-1)
With their only loss coming to Brighton who manhandled them they have bounced back and are leaving a big time impression. Ben Barrus Ben Barrus 6'4" | CG Riverton | 2024 State UT has been solid doing a little bit of attacking and a little bit of shooting out in the perimeter. They have been able to spread the scoring around getting really good minutes from Kaden Allred Kaden Allred 5'11" | PG Riverton | 2024 State UT and Evan Barrett who are two PG’s that split time handling the ball but they play well together on the floor. Zach Edwards Zach Edwards 6'4" | PF Riverton | 2024 State UT does a lot of the little things and the big fella in the middle Christian Heninger Christian Heninger 6'10" | C Riverton | 2024 State UT is solid as they come rim protecting.
Pleasant Grove High School (6-1)
This team was suppose to be a rebuilding year and they seem to be doing great building their young talent that has stuck around. Ryker Mikkelsen Ryker Mikkelsen 6'3" | CG Orem Tigers | 2025 State UT has been doing a little bit of everything a Swiss Army Knife out there. He is their leading but he does a lot of the dirty work as this team is undersized. Makai Peterson a player who has been waiting his turn to contribute is getting minutes and he is doing very well scoring the ball and being impactful. The tough part of their schedule is coming up and this could really show who they are going forward.
Lehi High School (6-1)
We knew this team was going to be good but they have been getting some major help from everyone that sees the floor. Cooper Lewis Cooper Lewis 6'1" | PG Lehi | 2024 State UT is playing out of his mind and he is still one of the best unsigned prospects in teh state at the PG position. Their only loss came to a team they likely beat 9 out of 10 times as they could not put the ball in the hoop in the 4Q. Easton Hawkins Easton Hawkins 6'4" | CG Lehi | 2025 State UT is ascending ad his level of play has caught a lot of college coaches attention. He is moving into that D1 state. Gabe Cowan Gabe Cowan 6'4" | CG Lehi | 2024 State UT a player that we have been high on in the summer has started to find his role on this team. This team is dangerous and they play with no fear.
