James has emerged as a valuable piece of this Eagles team this offseason and has continued his good performance into the regular season. He’s developed into a reliable stretch forward whose game has evolved past just being a scoring threat. James has been able to create within the offense of the Eagles and has been one of the assist leaders of this squad. This combined with his athleticism and length makes him someone to look out for as his senior season continues.
Jackson Tumbridge Jackson Tumbridge 6'3" | SG ABC Prep | 2024 State NM – ABC Prep
Tumbridge moved from Indiana to join ABC Prep and has established himself as one of the best shooters, if not the best, in the state. Nicknamed the “Aussie Assassin”, he’s made a name for himself on the offensive, averaging 4 made threes at one point during the Grind Session circuit, and earning several JUCO offers in the process. Tumbidge will be able to use his 6’4″ frame to continue to get his shot off at a high clip at the next level and will be an asset to any school.
Jalen Calloway Jalen Calloway 6'4" | SG ABC Prep | 2024 State NM – ABC Prep
Calloway moved from Chicago to join ABC Prep and has become a huge part of their recent success. He’s a bouncy athletic guard who attacks the basket with ferocity as well as providing three-level scoring ability from anywhere on the floor. He’s been able to be a part of multiple highlight reels due to his poster dunks and has made a name for himself with his play in the Grind Session. He’ll no doubt earn college interest during the year.
Uche Nsonwu Uche Nsonwu 6'7" | SF ABC Prep | 2024 State NM – ABC Prep
Nsonwu is a textbook stretch/sharpshooter forward. At 6’7″, he’s able to score from all three levels and use his frame and height to create for himself off the dribble, as well as rebound on both ends of the floor. Nsonwu has been instrumental to ABC’s success in the EIBC League, and it has led to colleges taking notice, recently earning an offer from New Mexico Highlands. He’ll continue to garner college interest as his senior season goes on.
Jahmil Crayton-Johnson Jahmil Crayton-Johnson 6'0" | PG Sandia | 2024 State NM – Sandia
Crayton-Johnson was a big part of Sandia’s success in the offseason, tearing it up on the defensive end and wreaking havoc on opposing guards. During the regular season, he’s become a spark plug off the bench who can provide instant energy for the Matadors. He’s also able to start fast breaks and finish in traffic, using his speed to get to the rim. His role will only grow as the season goes on, and he’ll be a reliable player off the bench for this squad.
