Cam is a small lead guard but very tough and plays with a lot of grit. He can play with or without the ball in his hands but his team is more efficient when he is orchestrating the offense. He has a good balance between scoring and facilitating, but on this year’s team, he has to be one of the top two scoring options. He is shifty with speed, and both coaches whom his team played at the classic talked about how difficult it was containing him off the bounce.

Justin Cologne Nelson (5’11/CG/’25/Huffman HS)

Justin is the backcourt mate of Peyton Wiggins Peyton Wiggins 6'2" | PG Huffman | 2025 State AL , the #6-ranked player in the 2025 class. One thing that Justin has done was take on more of the ball-handling and facilitating responsibilities. He is a solid lead guard who values the ball and does a good job distributing to his scorers. He impacts both ends of the floor with his hustle plays and willingness to give up his body, whether diving on the floor or taking charges. He allows Peyton to be more of a scoring threat, as Justin has become a reliable floor general for his squad.
John Carwie John Carwie 5'10" | SG Mountain Brook | 2024 State AL (5’10/Shooting Guard/2024/Mountain Brook HS)

It is straightforward when it comes to John and what he brings to the floor. He shoots the ball exceptionally well and is an excellent fit in the Mountain Brook system. He is a reliable threat and has proven to be a clutch three-point weapon. He is aggressive on the defensive end of the floor and doesn’t take a step back on that end. His stock has been rising during the early portion of this season, and he made some key buckets as his team battled Myers Park (NC).
Sadiq White (6’8/W/’25/Myers Park)

Sadiq is a lengthy wing who was a match-up nightmare on Day 1 of the classic as his team was matched up against Mountain Brook (AL). He is extremely hard to guard as he has a true perimeter game and post-up game. He was comfortable and confident on the perimeter despite the intense pressure the Spartans tried to put on ball-handlers. Sadiq showed speed and explosiveness and was terrific in transition, as he often looked to finish above the rim. Sadiq is a multi-position defender, and his length was a constant factor. On a team loaded with talent, he made winning plays even when they were not necessarily scoring plays.
Caden Steiner Caden Steiner 6'3" | SG Jasper | 2026 State AL (6’3/SG/’26/Jasper HS)

Caden is an off-guard who impacts the stat sheet in numerous categories. He scores at multiple levels, can put it on the floor and attack off the bounce creating scoring opportunities for himself and others, and rebounds well from the guard spot. He is a young, hard-playing prospect making a name for himself as he played very well on day one of the classic. The key will be if the young guy can match his performance from the day before on day two. He is a player I will be keeping my eyes on.

Timothy Holliday (6’0/CG/’25/Itawamba Agriculture High School)

Tim is a skilled combo guard who plays on and off the ball. Regardless of where he is playing, he is highly productive and skilled. He’s shifty yet decisive with the steps he takes. Despite just starting his Junior campaign, he is already an advanced pick-and-roll playmaker who can make something out of nothing. Despite being one of his team’s primary scoring options, he plays unselfishly, has promising floor vision, and knows how to deliver the rock to his teammates on time and on target. His team will need him at his best night in and night out to compete.

Mitchel Robinson Mitchel Robinson 6'3" | CG Bob Jones | 2026 State AL (6’3/CG/’26/Bob Jones)

Mitchel had a very good showing on day one and early morning of day two. He is a combo guard with good positional size and a nice skillset. He understands his role even though he is one of the young guys on the squad. He allowed the game to come to him and showed he was a good decision-maker with the rock in his hands. He has a business-like approach to the game and is eager to be a key piece in the success of his squad’s season. One thing I like about Mitchel is he takes good care of the ball and resists unnecessary risks, which is very much needed with a young squad like his team. He is an instinctual off-ball defender, which makes him valuable on both ends.
