Highlights
Drew Boston Drew Boston 6’2″ | SF Princeton | 2024 TX was one of, if not the hardest-working player on the court, a true lockdown defender with incredible defensive prowess. He flew around the court, covering ground, contesting shots, helping, double teaming, defending the rim, and snatching down boards limiting shot opportunities. Boston also proved to be versatile enough to defend on the perimeter and in the post. As a lockdown defender, Boston made his man a non-factor by denying them the ball and never giving them an inch of space to breathe. He read plays well, made smart decisions, and understood how to position himself to impact both individual and team defensive success.
Jerrick Guidry Jerrick Guidry 6’2″ | PG Clear Lake | 2024 State TX dished out an impressive 6 assists, showing remarkable court vision. No matter how he was defended he could somehow see everything and everyone. Guidry excelled at finding the open man whether he had the ball at the top of the key or on the baseline.
Riyad Eloudaid Riyad Eloudaid 6’2″ | SG Langham Creek | 2024 TX had an impressive first half, putting up 15 points and scoring 9 of the first 13 points for Langham Creek. Trustworthy offensive player, everything ran through Eloudaid first. He displayed scoring proficiency from all three levels, often using a go-to spin move around the elbows to set up his knockdown turnaround jumper. He went on to display his athleticism on the fastbreak, elevating off two feet for a powerful two-fisted alley-oop slam dunk.
Jason Obert Jason Obert 5’11” | PG Clear Lake | 2024 State TX broke defenders down with his sharp changes of direction with between-the-leg dribbles, consistently getting his defender on his hip or leading him downhill to the rack. Obert finished with 23 points, marking it his sixth 20+ point game of the season.
