Every team will open play over the next few days around the state. Mosley was active on both ends of the court against the Hornets. On the offensive end, Mosley racked up 15 points and 2 assists. Meanwhile, on the defensive end of the court, he forced a turnover and accounted for 8 rebounds on the night. However, he kept the solid play going to start the season. Lanier is a player that drives the lane and finish above the rim with impressive force. The Maumelle guard had a strong performance against Morrilton to tip off the season. Lanier churned out 13 points and grabbed 8 rebounds against the Devil Dogs. The Maumelle guard did not have any problems getting his shot going this week. Rochell racked up 18 points, 8 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 assist, and 2 blocks. Rochell has a high motor and is active on both ends of the court. Rochell is off to a strong start to the season for the Hornets.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2266284' first='Malik' last='McGuire']-Small Forward-Maumelle-6'7” 2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>McGuire is a forward that battles in the paint. He has no problem doing the dirty work in the paint and battling for rebounds. McGuire put together a double-double performance to tip off the season. McGuire scored 12 points, 10 rebounds, 1 steal, and 1 block on the night. McGuire is setting the stage for a strong season with his performance this week. The 2023 season is off to a great start and it is going to be a busy season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
