There is a lot of talent on display, but let’s take a look at some of the under-the-radar players who could have an impactful tourney and an impactful season.
Keldrick Hurt Keldrick Hurt 5'11" | PG Bullock County | 2024 State AL (5’11/PG/’24/Bullock County HS)

Keldrick is one of the alpha males for Bullock County. He displays a tremendous amount of leadership on and off the court. He is a mature PG with good court vision, court awareness, and a high IQ for the game. He is a high-end decision-maker who does a good job getting to the paint and dropping dimes to open teammates. Keldrick is a solid PNR ball-handler and orchestrates well coming off the ball-screen.

Bryson does a lot for his squad and will need to continue to embrace the many responsibilities that his team needs him to carry. At any moment of the game, Byrson can be called on to handle primary ball-handling duties, not only defend multiple positions but defend the other team’s best player, as well as dominate the glass. He is a gritty player who plays extremely hard while out on the floor.
Jonah Jones Jonah Jones 6'4" | SF Central-Phenix | 2025 State AL (6’4/F/’25/Central-Phenix City)
Jonah is a pure athlete who plays above the rim. He is a captivating hybrid-type player who impacts the game with his athleticism, energy, and effort. Jonah is going to really be a problem for opponents and a major contributor for his squad this season as he will be able to find easy scoring opportunities as teams expend a lot of resources to try and stop Jacoby Hill Jacoby Hill 6'4" | CG Central | 2025 State #160 Nation AL . To sum up, what to expect from Jonah this year is simple: he is a low-maintenance scorer who doesn’t need touches to exert great effort while looking for opportunities to get buckets.
Caden Anderson (6’6/F/’24/Park Crossing)
Caden is a lengthy interior presence that causes a lot of problems on the inside. Defensively, he is a rim protector with great timing when blocking shots. Offensively, he does a good job scoring on the low block and on put-backs. Caden has done an excellent job expanding his game out of the paint over the years and has earned the trust of his coaches to be able to step out and shoot the mid-range jumper. He will be a vital part of any type of success that Park Crossing has this season.
Riley Sigler Riley Sigler 6'7" | C Pinson Valley | 2024 State AL (6’8/F/’24/Pinson Valley)

Riley is a versatile stretch four who is really coming into his own and understanding how to ‘play basketball.’ He does a good job spacing the floor with his ability to knock down the trey ball. One thing in particular that Riley will bring to the floor this year is his versatility as a ball-screen threat since he is a reliable shooter coming out of the pick-and-pop, and he has shown that he is skilled at rolling to the basket. Riley is a mobile defender who is willing to step in front of drives to contest shots. He makes second and third efforts while protecting the rim and does it with great awareness and anticipation.
