Mekhi Martin Mekhi Martin 6'2" | PG Layton | 2024 State UT
The locked in PG at Layton High School was not only in his bag but he was in the zone setting the bar high as he put up 32 points. Martin is a stock rising next level prospect that could be a steal fro a small school at the next level. He has some size as he is about 6’2 and he is strong. Whe he gets downhill and creates contact there are not too many guards that can deal with his physicality. Mid-range is nice and he can hurt you from deep too. When players can hurt you if you go under or over screens you need to be on your game and martin could quickly pick apart a defensive game plan.
Andrew Miller
No better way to make a first impression on the floor at your new school than going off for 26 points in a win. That is what Miller did for Springville High School a team that is young and inexperienced but they have grit and they look hungry. Miller is a next level athlete that could really improve his stock here in Utah and he is a piece that Sprinville was missing that will help them make a move and prove that they are a serious team in the mix in 5A.
New name out at Layton Christian Academy that is lighting things up. While there are a few names and players we know out at LCA Kulundzic is taking matters into his own hands with his excellent inside/outside game. LCA has size and this kid is a zone buster , so thinking you can zone this team will end badly as he went off for 9 three-pointers in his last outing as LCA put a thumping on Crimson Cliffs. He has great size and at 6’5 he might be a hidden gem in that Class of 2024.
Jordan Kohler Jordan Kohler 6'5" | SF Skyridge | 2025 State UT
We have been watching this kid since he was just a pup and now he has the chance to turn some heads as he is a full-time hooper that has put in the work. He is a 3 guard that has strength and skill. One of thos eplayers that looks completely different than he did last year. Skyridge is not going to role over for anyone with Kohler roaming on the floor on both ends. Kohler is an underrated gem for sure.
Jordan Childs Jordan Childs 6'6" | SF Logan | 2024 UT
Logan High School has a good one out there. At around 6’6 or so Child has quietly been doing his thing and this season he looks to have a breakout season. He might not do it all from deep like a lot of other players but he is gritty and finds ways to score on attacks and off the bounce. He is a very active player. Keep an eye on him over there. Could be a really good snag at the NWAC level.
In three games Ocwor is putting up some big time numbers. The teams he has put big numbers on are a combined 1-6 which is something that he should do for sure, but he has potential and he is a hidden gem out there playing for a 2A school. There are a lot of 5A and 6A schools that could use him right now, we will tell you that. The kid has size and he can run the floor. Owcor should average 3+ dunks a game
