Below is a review of “new” prospects who impressed us during those competitive contests.
Jacob Becker Jacob Becker 6'4" | SG Haverford School | 2025 State PA – 6’4” / 2025 / Haverford School / Pro Level Titans / Small Forward: Becker is an athletic and solidly built forward prospect. He excels at cutting to the hoop for a catch and lay-ins. Plus he can score on drives from the elbows and the baseline. Becker has flashed a nice jumper too. He also runs the floor well, so Becker is a secondary break option. After Haverford’s recent string of unfortunate injuries, Becker will have a bigger role this season than initially expected.
Ryan Delp – 5’11” / 2026 / CR South / Rebels BA / Point Guard: In 2023-24Delp’s role is to work as a pass first floor general who runs the team. He handles that responsibility extremely well for an underclassman. But do not underestimate this prospect’s ability to score in bunches. Delp is a quick and creative guard who can score at all 3-levels. His ability to get buckets in transition is impressive too.
Billy Rayer Billy Rayer 5'10" | PG Haverford Boys | 2024 State PA – 5’10″ / 2024 / Haverford School / PA Hoops Academy / Combo Guard: Rayer is a speedy, hardnosed guard who uses his accurate 3-point shooting to set up dribble drives. Once Rayer has drained a couple triples, he will use a nice head / ball fake to get a defender off balance. He will then put the ball on the deck and attack the rim to score or distribute. Rayer’s high IQ, non-stop motor and instincts make him a plus player at both ends.
Brandon Russell Brandon Russell 6'5" | SG Archbishop Ryan | 2025 State PA – 6’5″ / 2025 / Archbishop Ryan / Marston Elite / Wing: Russell (formerly of Pennington School in NJ) is a tremendous addition to the Archbishop Ryan lineup. His size and solid frame enable him to score through contact in the paint or on slashes to the rack. Russell’s speed, athleticism and finishing skills make him a serious open court threat. His mid-range jumper must be respected as well.
Liam Wekluk – 6’6″ / 2024 / Council Rock South / Total Skills / Small Forward: This long and active traditional small forward is an interior presence at both ends of the floor. On offense, Wekluk can score on post ups, dives to the rim and via the offensive glass. Defensively, Wekluk is a plus rebounder and an intimidating shot blocker.
