THE STARTING FIVE
Derek Rockett Derek Rockett 6'0" | CG Higbee | 2024 State MO (Higbee): A 6’1″ 2024 guard who is entering his fourth year as a starter. He returns as one of the top scorers in the state as he averaged 30 points a game last season. The CLAA Player of the Year also averaged eight rebounds and five assists. He is already the school’s all-time leading scorer and he’s knocking on the door of 2,000 points in his career.
Colby Jenkins (Brunswick): A 6’0″ 2025 guard who was an All-Conference and All-District performer who returns after leading Brunswick to a Class 1 district championship. He averaged a team-high 16 points a game as a sophomore.
Jaxson Hudson (Higbee): A 6’3″ 2024 forward who had a productive junior season as he earned All-District honors. The lefty standout averaged 13 points and 11 rebounds a game last season. He is very effective when he’s driving to the basket.
Gage Heussner (Hale): A 5’9″ 2025 guard who was an All-District selection last year as a sophomore. The young lefty can shoot the ball from 3-point range and he also has solid playmaking skills with his passing and ball handling.
Tucker Singer (Tina-Avalon): A 6’1″ 2024 forward returns as one of the top inside players in the conference. He is a solid 210-pounder who uses his strength to excel in the post. He averaged 16 points and nine rebounds a game while shooting 57 percent from the field.
