They are kind of under the radar now, but watch for them as they will be putting in work this season for their respective teams.
Gabe Johnson (Richmond): An athletic 6’8″ 2025 forward who had a strong sophomore year playing alongside standout center Jack Gogue. With Gogue now at New Mexico State playing football, Gabe becomes more of a focal point. He has good length and he runs the court well. He can score and he rebounds the ball well at both ends., plus he attacks well on the drive. He averaged 13 points and eight rebounds a game as a sophomore.
Cohen George Cohen George 6'10" | PF Ozark | 2025 State MO (Ozark): A 6’10” 2025 forward who is on the rise after enjoying a very productive summer with Yanders Law , where he played both 16 and 17Us. He has good mobility to go with his height and he has the ability to score inside. He has a nice jump hook over either shoulder. He can also step out and make perimeter shots to stretch the defense. He has started to received Division I interest.
Tyler Barnett Tyler Barnett 6'7" | PF Fair Grove | 2024 State MO (Fair Grove): A 6’7″ 2024 forward who has already committed to Baptist Bible. He uses his big body very well in the post, plus he has good footwork and a very nice spin move inside. He returns after averaging 10 points and seven rebounds a game. He will be the inside anchor for a team that should be one of the best in Class 3 this season.
Jon Dunbar (Cassville): A 6’8″ 2024 forward who returns after a solid junior season where he nearly averaged a double-double. He can wheel and deal in the post and he can score with either hand. He can also hit the jumper from 12 to 15 feet. He averaged nine points and eight rebounds last season, which led the Big 8 West.
Eli Stokes Eli Stokes 6'8" | PF Cassville | 2025 State MO (Cassville): A 6’8″ 2025 forward who I was impressed with when I saw him during the summer with the Missouri 66ers. His activity level is high and he has solid fundamentals in the low post. He rebounds the ball well and he can also pass the ball. He averaged five points and five rebounds a game last season, but those numbers should increase as a starter this year.
Jake Miller (Penney): A 6’7″ 2026 forward who was very impressive when I watched him during the summer with the 816 Hoops. He is physically strong with good athleticism and a motor that is constantly running. If he gets the ball inside, he is going to try to dunk it more often than not. He averaged 10 points and nine rebounds a game as a freshman. He is a good shot blocker in the paint.
