Eugene Stevenson Eugene Stevenson 6'1" | PG East Jefferson | 2025 State LA 6’1″ East Jefferson
Eugene had a outstanding sophomore season. He averaged 16 points and 8 rebounds a game last season. He is a scoring point guard who can shoot the three ball and is also a excellent passer. He can finish in the paint in traffic . Eugene is one of the better rebounding guards in the state .He is a defensive stopper and usually guards the opponents best player. I love his game on both ends of the floor. East Jefferson lost in the 1st round of the playoffs last season.
Raymond Hart Jr Raymond Hart Jr 6'2" | PG Franklinton | 2025 State LA 6’2″ Franklinton
Raymond is a very good player on both ends of the court. He is a great ball handler and very good shooter off the dribble from three point range and mid range. He is very hard to defend when he is going downhill. Raymond is also very good on the defensive end with great size and athleticism. Franklinton didn’t make the playoffs last season. They look to return to the playoffs this year.
Lance Gorayeb Lance Gorayeb 5'9" | PG Slaughter Community Charter | 2025 State LA 5’8″ Slaughter Community Charter
Lance had a stellar sophomore season. He averaged 10 point and whopping 7 assist a game last season. He is a pass 1st point guard who can shoot it from everywhere at crunch time. Lance is a very good rebounding point guard and can finish on fast breaks in transition. He plays good high pressure defense harassing opponents point guards. Slaughter didn’t make the playoffs last season but i think they are primed for a playoff run this coming season.
Destin Love Destin Love 5'9" | PG Hamilton Christian | 2025 State LA 5’9″ Hamilton Christian
Destin is a very good small school point guard in class 1A. He plays both ends of the court extremely well. He can shoot the three or beat you off the dribble with a quick 1st step. Destin was a consistent double digit scorer last year. He plays good team defense. Hamilton Christian lost in the quarterfinals of the state playoffs . They will be very good this season.
Jaydon Norbert Jaydon Norbert 6'0" | PG Southside | 2025 State LA 6’0″ Southside
Jaydon had a outstanding sophomore year. He is a true floor general who can dictate the pace of the game and also can score the basketball when needed too. He is a good shooter from behind the arc and mid range. Jaydon seems to always make good decisions when the ball is in his hands . He plays good team defense. Southside lost in the 2nd round of the state playoffs last season . They have a good returning core and should be a tuff out this season.
