With a reputation for its competitive spirit and sportsmanship, the Southwest Slam brings together talented youth teams from across the Southwest. Noah Edling
Noah Edling
Edling is one of those players you only need to see shoot a handful of times before understanding his superpower. He’s a shooter with textbook form that was very accurate in catch and shoot action showing an advanced ability to move without the basketball.
Josiah Miller
Josiah Miller
Miller was one of those players that made his mark on the defensive end. It wasn’t just the ferociousness he played with, but the timing of his play. The high IQ defender came up with multiple late game steals sealing the win for his team in the game I saw.
Jesus Alcoverde
Jesus Alcoverde
Alcoverde is a smooth shooting guard with ice water in his veins. The lefty was deadly accurate from the corner showing good shot prep and a consistent release in the games I saw.
Gio Neilson
Gio Neilson
Neilson is a player that was extremely productive all weekend. He has good skill, displaying the ability to dribble, pass and shoot at an above average level. He was able to slash and finish at the bucket as well as knock down open shots.

Tillman has an advanced offensive game with all the skills of today’s modern PG. He shoots accurately both in catch and shoot action and off the bounce. Has the potential to develop into an elite wiggle, jitterbug PG.
King Siliman
King Siliman
Liked the way Silman competed. He was unafraid to stick his nose in, mixing it up with bigger players for rebounds and 50/50’s. He was 1st to the ball a lot of times, and displayed good skill handling the ball against pressure.
