It will take place on at the Oakland Fieldhouse. We’re going to look at some examples of the many players that we’d like to see at the event. Register through the barcode on the flier in the tweet below.
Richards is a supremely talented player that could light up the City Slam. He may have had one of the most underrated high school season last year. Richards was flat out electric. He was terrific with the ball and created buckets.
Kuiper is a really good player that has turned a lot of heads with his play on the basketball court. He has a chance to be an elite spot up shooter this high school season. Kuiper has shown that he can hit the outside shot with consistency.

Amene is a player that deserves more publicity and recognition for his game. The City Slam will be the perfect place for that to happen. Amene is at his best when he puts the ball on the floor and creates. He’s so slippery on his way to the rim. We’d love to see Amene and his creativity at the City Slam.
Sanders is riding the momentum of a terrific showing at the Prep Hoops Top 250. We’d like to see him ride that momentum at the City Slam. He has shown the look of a tough and physical multi level scorer. Sanders seems primed for a huge junior season and we want it to start at the Oakland Fieldhouse.

I’ve been very high on Bailey’s game for a year or so now, so I’ll take any and every chance to see him play. He’s a tough slashing wing that makes himself a high influence player on both ends. Bailey attacks the boards off the wing.

Kanouno is a talented guard that I really want to see more of. The City Slam would be a great place for that to happen. He can play on or off the ball and can be a dangerous shooter off the catch. Kanouno stays shot ready and catches the ball balanced. He’s a solid 2 way player that uses his anticipation to create turnovers.
Zeller is a talented guard that could make a name for himself at the City Slam in October. I like his upside as a player and prospect. Zeller can shoot, handle and is a willing defender.

Payne is a versatile player that can do a lot of things very well. He’s more a big guard, but his versatility and almost positionless game is a definite strength. We’d really like to see Payne flaunt his game at the City Slam.
