Jordan Taylor Jordan Taylor 6'7" | PF St. Peter's Prep | 2024 State NJ , 6’7 PF St. Peter’s Prep
Taylor was one of the few post prospects at the Expo and he made his impact felt throughout the day. The 6’7 forward used his strong frame to get position down low and showed a soft touch around the basket. Taylor was able to draw contact down low and showed a solid handle on the perimeter. He showed a nice release on his jumper and was a force on the glass. Taylor is a physical forward prospect whose ability to finish down low is something that will help his stock in a big way this season.
Mahir Ahmed, 6’2 CG Academy of Finance Enterprise
Ahmed had a solid day at the Expo as he was able to make an impact on the perimeter. The 6’2 guard wasted little motion in his release and set his feet before he shot. Ahmed moved well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open layups and jumpers in the halfcourt. He showed the ability to handle the ball on times and slid his feet on defense. Ahmed’s ability to stretch the floor is something that will help his game in a big way this winter.
Bubba McNeil Bubba McNeil 5'10" | PG Middle Township | 2024 State NJ , 5’10 PG Middle Township
McNeil made plays throughout the day as he was able to get to his spot on the floor throughout the day. The 5’10 lefty showed off his lightning quick release on his jumper and shot the ball with confidence on the perimeter. McNeil did more than just shoot as he used his handle to beat his defender off the bounce and get to the rim. He moved well without the ball in his hands and was able to get deflections on defense. McNeil is a speedy guard prospect who has the ability to torch the nets this season.
Michael Schafer, 6’2 W Calvary Christian
Schafer had a strong showing at the Expo as he was able to impact the game in multiple ways. The 6’2 wing was decisive with the ball in his hands as he was able to get into the lane and finished nicely around the basket. Schafer has a nice release on his jumper and rarely forced bad shots in the halfcourt. He was able to draw contact in the paint and fought for rebounds on both ends of the floor. Schafer has the ability to have a breakout senior season with his ability to knock down jumpers from deep and get into the lane.
Mateusz Lodziato, 6’2 W Williamsburg Prep
Lodziato rose his stock in a big way at the Expo as he showed the ability to score the ball in a variety of ways. The 6’2 wing played with good footwork in the post and finished nicely in the paint. Lodziato used his handle to get into the lane and made good decisions with the ball in his hands. He showed a good release on his jumper and set his feet before he shot. Lodziato is a crafty wing whose ability to score inside and out is something that will help his development this season.
