Jiani Moran, 5’10 PG Fair Lawn
Moran has the ability to have a big day with his ability to make plays with the ball in his hands. The 5’10 guard has a good handle, which he uses to get to the rim and finish. Moran is more than just a slasher as he has a nice release on his jumper and sets his feet before he shoots. He gets his teammates involved in the halfcourt and slides his feet on the defensive end. Moran is a shifty guard prospect who should make plays throughout the day.
Jerrel Alston Jerrel Alston 5'11" | PG Immaculata | 2024 State NJ , 5’10 PG Immaculata
Alston can play either on or off the ball, which gives him the potential to have a strong day. The 5’10 guard attacks the basket strong as he finishes well around the basket and can finish through contact. Alston has a good touch on his floater and rarely forces bad shots in the halfcourt. He uses his quick hands to get deflections on defense and pushes the ball well in transition. Alston is a gritty guard prospect who will be one to watch at the Prep Hoops NJ Top 250 Expo.
Bubba McNeil Bubba McNeil 5'10" | PG Middle Township | 2024 State NJ , 5’11 PG Middle Township
McNeil is capable of putting up points in bunches and should put it on display on Saturday. The 5’11 lefty has a lightning quick release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. McNeil uses his quick first step to get into the paint and can finish through contact. He moves well without the ball in his hands and slides his feet on the defensive end. McNeil’s ability to score the ball inside and out is something that will help him throughout the Prep Hoops NJ Top 250 Expo.
Jahan Owusu Jahan Owusu 6'1" | PG Princeton | 2024 State NJ , 6’2 PG Princeton
Owusu had a good summer and should put his skillset on display at the Prep Hoops NJ Top 250 Expo. The 6’2 guard is a good on-ball defender as he moves his feet and gets deflections to start the fast break. Owusu uses his size to see over his defender and can find open teammates in the halfcourt. He finishes nicely around the rim and can knock down open jumpers from behind the arc. Owusu’s ability to make plays at both ends of the floor is something that will help him have a big Saturday at the Expo.
Jeremiah Williams Jeremiah Williams 6'2" | PG Bound Brook | 2024 State NJ , 6’2 PG Bound Brook
Williams is an intriguing prospect to watch at the Expo with his combination of size and skill. The 6’2 guard has a solid handle, which he uses to get into the lane and finish around the basket. Williams does not mind contact and sets his feet before he shoots. He is a strong rebounder for a guard and is an underrated passer. Williams is a skilled guard prospect whose versatility will help him throughout the course of the Expo.
