Here at PH NorCal we do our best to identify as many quality prospects as we can. We might miss a few, but we continue to work at it. Some prospects will drop in the rankings, while new ones are added, and others will rise.
Jeremiah Butler Jeremiah Butler 6'2" | SG Inderkum | 2024 State CA-N 6’3 G/F from Inderkum: Butler played well at Section 7, the thick body prospect can impact the game with his physical style of play. He makes good use of his body by physically forcing his way into the paint with the dribble, and balance. He powers up strong inside against bigs and through traffic for points. He’s a good rebounder at 6’3.
Shaine Johnson Shaine Johnson 6'1" | PG Inderkum | 2024 State CA-N 6’1 PG, from Inderkum: He’s a fast guard with quality handles, it’s hard to stay in front of him. He has the stop and go move, good change of direction that gets defenders off balance. He does well setting and running the offense up top, and seeing the court. He’s a quality defender with the speed to stay on ball, trap, and generate steals with his quick hands.
Cameron Johnson Cameron Johnson 6'2" | SG Liberty | 2024 State CA-N 6’2 Guard, from Liberty: He’s good finishing drives around the basket, knifing his way through, or sometimes planting going up strong off two. He’s an excellent shooter from behind the 3-point line. He hit transition 3’s and used a screen and a dribble to free himself up along the perimeter. He has good court speed.
Angelo Ghattas Angelo Ghattas 6'4" | PF Serra, San Mateo | 2024 State CA-N 6’5 Forward, from Serra: He’s strong has good size and movement, and a good stance to defend on the perimeter, and in the post, a good help defender. He doesn’t mind the bumping and banging that goes on inside while he goes after rebounds on both ends. He sets solid screens for shooters, rolls/cut hard to the basket, and goes up strong.
Marko Milentijevic Marko Milentijevic 6'5" | SF Oakwood | 2024 State CA-N 6’5 Forward, Oakwood: He has good size, handles and moves pretty well, he sees the court for passing up, and along the perimeter. He can generate points driving from different areas, and transition using different moves floaters, paint jumpers. He works well in the corner, a threat to knock down 3’s, and drive it hard to the rim along the baseline.
Dorde Curci 6’4 PG from Archbishop Riordan: There’s really a lot we don’t know about Curci. What we do know is, he’s 6’4 with good fundamentals, did a solid job running the point guard position, on one of the top teams in NorCal at the Border League a few weeks ago. He handles the ball, sees the court, had solid drives using his body to get into the paint, he knocked down the open 3ptr.
Aaron Biebel Aaron Biebel 6'0" | CG Archbishop Mitty | 2024 State CA-N 6’0 CG, from Archbishop Mitty: Biebel is an experienced guard heading into the season. He rarely starts, but has been a reliable player off the bench for the Monarchs the past couple of seasons. He takes good care of the ball, makes the extra pass, runs hard up the court, and takes it strong to the basket. He’ll knock down a jumper, every now and then. He gives good effort on the defensive side of the ball.
Daniel Cojocaru Daniel Cojocaru 6'3" | PG Monte Vista | 2024 State CA-N 6’3 G/F from Monte Vista: He’s a versatile 6’3 player who’s good finishing around the basket in traffic. He runs hard in transition, has the range to knock down open 3’s from the corner and in transition. He’s a good rebounding guard, who guards hard on the other end.
Jake Andus Jake Andus 5'10" | SG Analy | 2024 State CA-N 6’0 SG, from Analy: He’s working a bit under the radar. He’s an excellent shooter from behind the 3-point line, he has good shot selection, has the balance and patience to pull it down and use a dribble for the short range jumper that consistently goes in. He does a solid job handling the ball, and moving it along the perimeter.
Trey Miller Trey Miller 6'3" | CG Sobrato | 2024 State CA-N 6’1 CG, from Ann Sobrato: He’s a solid combo guard with good handles capable of running and setting the offense in the half-court. He handles ball pressure bringing it up court, he has a nice crossover dribble to attack defenders going towards the basket. He knocks down 3’s along the perimeter on the catch and shoot, and kind of lulls the defender with his dribble before knocking down a long 3ptr.
Bryce Buchanan Bryce Buchanan 6'7" | SF Inderkum | 2024 State CA-N 6’8 Forward, from Inderkum: He’s one we’ll have to see more of. He’s 6’8, spots up well around the perimeter looking to knock down 3ptrs, with defenders rushing out. He’s a bit on the raw side, but more strengthening and conditioning he has a good upside. He’s shown some ability to take it strong along the baseline. He’ll go after rebounds, he’s a target going through the post with his size.
Miles Diallo Miles Diallo 6'0" | CG California | 2024 State CA-N 6’0 CG, from California: He has good speed and quality ball handling skills. He’s shown he can run point, with good vision and passing. He has a good burst, and hard to guard in open space, attacking from different directions, making his way into the paint for different finishes, floaters, and paint jumpers. He’s good off the dribble pulling-up for dime jumpers in transition.
