Jordan Taylor Jordan Taylor 6'7" | PF St. Peter's Prep | 2024 State NJ , High School ST Peters, Class 2024, HT 6’7, position Wing/Forward
Jordan was making plays all day long at the Expo, and he stood out as one of the top players of the day. He is a 6’7 strong built Wing. He is able to control his body, and made a number of tough finishes in the paint with contact. He also had a number of second chance points from offensive rebounds. He had moments during the day when he played in the open floor, and times when he was effective in the half court. He hit some mid range jumpers, and showed his soft shooting touch from 15 feet. Jordan can impact the game on both sides of the ball, and has a lot of potential and upside to his game. Jordan plays on a very strong ST Peters team, but he is not to be overlooked. This year I expect him to have a bigger role, and grow his college recruitment list.
Josias Carbon Josias Carbon 6'2" | SG DePaul Catholic | 2025 State NJ , High School DePaul Catholic, Class 2025, Position CG, HT 6’1
Josias stood out as one of the most athletic players from the Expo. He had a number of high above the rim dunks throughout the day. He did a lot more than just dunk. He was effective in the open floor, and controlled the pace of the games. He also shot well, and proved he can score from multiple areas on the floor. He can shoot from the outside, and also has a soft high floater. Josias is a playmaker, that impressed the scouts at the Expo.
Julian Van Hoeck Julian Van Hoeck 6'6" | SF Hopewell Valley | 2026 State NJ , High School Hopewell Valley Central High School, HT 6’5, Position Wing, Class 2026,
Julian is a 6’5 Wing, who was very efficient throughout the Expo. In the second game of the day, Julian had 14 points in the first half, while shooting a high percentage from the field. Julian stretches the floor, and impacts the game in multiple ways. He finished well around the rim, and also found the open teammates. On defense he showed his abilities to defend down low, and on the perimeter. He was able to match up with multiple positions throughout the day. Julian is a sophomore, and is showing he has a lot of potential.
Israel Jackson Israel Jackson 6'4" | SF Don Bosco Prep | 2026 NJ , High School Don Bosco, HT 6’4, Position Wing, Class 2026,
Israel was strong in the open floor at the Expo. He attacked downhill, and showed his high level of athleticism. He played fast, but under control. Israel has a versatile skill set, and can play from the inside and out. He was aggressive on the rebounds, and tough to stop on the glass. On defense Israel had good timing on his shot blocks, and had a few big blocks from the weakside. Israel’s combination of Athleticism, length and skill, give him a strong upside.
Jianni Moran Jianni Moran 5'10" | PG Fair Lawn | 2024 State NJ , High School Fair Lawn, Class 2024, HT 5’10, Position G
Moran was lights out shooting in his teams third game of the day. He had 7 threes in the game, and did so at a high percentage. He has smooth balanced shooting form, and a quick release. He needs little time or space to get his shot off. I thought his shot selection throughout the day was good, and he did not force any shots up. Moran is an uncommitted 2024 prospect that could help out many division three college programs.
