In this series, we will be a look at some quick hitters, the top player, potential breakout player, other roster roster members and notable games of the upcoming season. For today’s spotlight, we take a look at the Yorktown Tigers
Quick Hitters
- Finished 14-9 last season
- Lost to New Castle in Sectionals
- Matt Moulton returns for 5th year as head coach. 49-45 record overall
Top Player: Kieran Tewari
As far as under-the-radar prospects, Tewari has always come to mind. He has good size on the wing at 6’3″, can score from all three levels efficiently, and possesses enough athleticism to elevate over his defender to finish. His motor has always been a standout as well on both ends of the floor. He returns to Yorktown as the top player and a guy that small schools should have on their radar if they don’t already. Think he will put up some big numbers this year.
