In this series, we will be a look at some quick hitters, the top player, potential breakout player, other roster roster members and notable games of the upcoming season. For today’s spotlight, we take a look at the Jennings County Panthers,
Quick Hitters
- Finished 24-3 last season.
- Lost to Brownsburg in Semi State
- Rob Kent starts year one with Jennings County
Top Player: Carter Kent
Kent is a near 6’0 lead guard that is expected to see a major leap in his junior season. Last season, he was one of the leaders of a team that stunned the state and made it to Semi-State while also averaging 14.6 points per game, which was also a team high. While he is projected to be a lead guard in the long term, he also has the ability to shoot extremely well and efficiently from behind the arc. He has a real chance to be one of the leading scores in the southern Indiana area this season.
