In this series, we will be a look at some quick hitters, the top player, potential breakout player, other roster roster members and notable games of the upcoming season. For today’s spotlight, we take a look at the Hamilton Heights Huskies.
Quick Hitters
- Finished 8-15 last season
- Lost to Delta in Sectionals.
- Chad Ballenger returns for 17th season as head coach. 221-149 record.
Top Player: Tillman Etchison
When it comes to the in-state 2024 class, Etchison is one of the more under-the-radar lead guards I strongly feel. While he is not the biggest lead guard, he is a tough, high IQ guard that creates his own shot off of the dribble, can knock down the pull-up, and is strong and athletic enough to compete. He is also a guard that that can put up a ton of points in a game and can get you a bucket when you need him to. He is coming to this season coming off of ankle surgery so it may take him a bit to get fully back into playing shape, but once he is able to return, he will be the lead guy for the Huskies.
