In this series, we will be a look at some quick hitters, the top player, potential breakout player, other roster roster members and notable games of the upcoming season. For today’s spotlight, we take a look at the Concordia Lutheran Cadets.
Quick Hitters
- Finished 18-7 last season
- Lost to Fort Wayne Dwenger in Sectionals
- Phil Brackmann returns for 6th year as head coach. 63-57 overall record.
Top Player: Cole Hayworth Cole Hayworth 6'5" | SF Concordia Lutheran | 2024 State IN
Hayworth is one of the best players in the in-state 2024 class that is still on the board but with a great senior year, that will quickly change. He is an athletic forward at 6’5 and strong left-handed wing that can attack the basket, play above the rim, and rebound very well. His shooting ability has started to improve as well which makes him an even better prospect. There is a ton of interest in Hayworth at that DII/DIII/NAIA with many more likely to jump in before he makes his college decision. Without question the best player for the Cadets this year.
Other Important Roster Members:
- Avery Cook Avery Cook 6'1" | PG Concordia Lutheran | 2025 IN – Cook is a 6’1 guard that is very dynamic and that can score at all three levels. Should see a little bit of a breakout year.
Notable Games (Confirmed)
- vs NorthWood (11/25)
- Delta Tournament (12/27)
- Fort Wayne Blackhawk (1/6)
- vs Homestead (2/9)
