Let’s take a look at some of the players we were able to see with Palmetto State ties in attendance.
Jeremaih McCain Jeremaih McCain 6'3" | CG Believe Prep | 2024 State SC is no longer at Lugoff-Elgin HS. McCain a member of the 2024 Palmetto State Class now attends Believe Prep in Rock Hill.
Deuce Hudson is doing a post graduate year at Combine Academy in Lincolnton, NC. Hudson a multi-sport athlete excelled on the football field and the hardwood while attending West Florence HS. He’s the son of former major league baseball player Orlando Hudson.
Ryan Djoussa and Kameron Foman are teammates this season a South Georgia Tech in Americus, GA. Djoussa a 6’8 sophomore played at Trinity Collegiate while Foman is a left-handed freshman guard who played at Hartsville HS.
Chris Parker who graduated from A.C. Flora HS is now attending Atlantic Cape Community College in New Jersey. Parker joins Jaylen Jenkins and Semejah Echols all from the Palmetto State on the roster. Jenkins attended Brookland-Cayce HS while Echols a sophomore attended Keenan HS.
Justin Daniels and Malichi Stevens are teammates down in the Sunshine State at Polk State College. Daniels a high-flying guard attended Manning HS while Stevens played at Oceanside Collegiate.
Korey Richardson and Jalen Jefferson both left-handed guards play in the backcourt at Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington, NC. Richardson a 3rd year guard originally hails from Columbia while Jefferson finished his high school career at North HS.
The USC-Salkehatchie Indians are back after a one-year hiatus with Head Coach Matt Lynch in charge. The Walterboro based programs has some familiar faces on the roster this season. Makhi Rivers, Grayson Kirk, Jay Chisolm and Justin Baxter are all on the roster here. Rivers a point guard attended Oceanside Collegiate, Kirk – Lancaster HS, Chisolm – Summerville HS and Baxter a 3rd year kid attended Bamberg-Ehrhardt HS. Baxter played a few seasons ago at Atlantic Cape Community College before sitting out las season.
Jacquez Shuler a 3rd year sophomore is now attending Northwest Florida State College. Shuler 7’0 originally from Denmark, SC attended Albany Tech (GA) last season. Shuler was out with a knee injury and DNP this past weekend.
Justin Britt who attended Goose Creek HS is now at Tallahassee Community College with the Eagles.
