Here are the top-10 PF/C’s in the 2025 class:
Jaion Pitt Jaion Pitt 6'7" | PF Canyon International Academy | 2025 State #90 Nation AZ Canyon International Academy
A high motored power forward is strong and very athletic. He can power up over the defense in the paint and has spin moves, he can fall away and even hit the open three. He rebounds well out of the area with two hands with his activity and desire.
Alejandro Aviles Alejandro Aviles 6'8" | C Dream City Christian | 2025 State #141 Nation AZ Dream City Christian
One of the most skilled post players in the state for any position and class. He has soft hands and a pretty touch from the elbow and in. He can shoot the three and has multiple counter moves to score.
Ifaola Fawaz Tacko Ifaola Fawaz Tacko 6'11" | C Dream City Christian | 2025 State AZ Dream City Christian (Pictured)
The biggest player in the state for the junior class is Tacko. The big Nigerian is a load to handle in the paint. He can score with drop steps, hook shots and a soft touch from the high post. He uses size and length to rebound and block shots.
Michael Simcoe Michael Simcoe 6'8" | PF Sandra Day O'Connor | 2025 State #217 Nation AZ Sandra Day O’Connor
A powerful forward with size, length and a jump shot. The burly framed lefty works down low to throw it down and has post moves to use. He can also shoot the three off the catch and can crab dribble to score with his own shot creation. He rebounds in and out of his area.
Andrew Bhesania Andrew Bhesania 6'8" | PF Boulder Creek | 2025 State #348 Nation AZ Boulder Creek
A versatile forward who plays multiple positions. He is a phenomenal passer for position and size. He will throw open teammates with next level court vision and will hit the three then score on hook shots and floaters.
Jaylon Johnson Jaylon Johnson 6'8" | C Phhoenix Prep | 2025 State AZ Desert Mountain
The big man in the middle has good size, huge mitts and next level strength. He can score on hook shots, offensive rebound put backs and is slowly facing up from 17-feet and in. He rebounds better than most in his area. He just came back after a knee injury.
Almani Aw Almani Aw 6'9" | C Hillcrest Prep | 2025 AZ Hillcrest Prep
A chiseled frame post player is pushing 220+ lbs. He has long arms, he is light on his toes and controls the paint. He grabs rebounds in and out of his area and will block shots. He scores on dunks and put backs.
Jamison Fox Jamison Fox 6'9" | PF Arcadia | 2025 State AZ Arcadia
A bigger forward has a high feel for the game and is highly skilled. He, like Bhesania, is a next level passer for position. He can also score from all levels. He can fall away, hit the elbow jumper and can shoot the three.
EJ Sommers EJ Sommers 6'9" | C Phhoenix Prep | 2025 State AZ Phhoenix Prep
A face-up five-man is skilled and has good defensive awareness. He covers a lot of ground in space to defend on the perimeter and will rebound and block shots in his area. He can shoot the three, has a nice jump hook shot and uses runners.
Zane Gaul Zane Gaul 6'10" | C Prescott | 2025 State AZ Prescott
A physical post player works well from inside and out. He can work in the paint with good post footwork and face-up from mid to the three. He rebounds well in his area with his length and brawn. He also will block shots in his area.
