Once again, they’ve struck hoop gold with the formation of their Anderson Court high school fall league. Boasting teams from all over West Virginia, the ultra-competitive league will also field a long list of the mountain state’s top recruiting targets. From Division I offers to Division III walk ons and all in between, this league will put all on display. Not to mention some of WV’s top high school basketball programs and coaches. This league is a basketball junkies dream. Listed below are some top small school (A, AA) prospects that are either on the recruiting radar or already have offers and are participating in the Anderson Court Fall League according to www.wvbluechips.com.
Jacob Maier Jacob Maier 5’9″ | PG Grafton | 2024 State WV is a 2024 Grafton High School point guard with as much potential as he has energy. Maier covers alot of ground on both ends of the floor with his floor general role. A well-known player in the north central part of the state and on the Big Shots circuit, Maier could easily command college attention while playing in the AC league.
Colby Barr Colby Barr 6’6″ | PF Clay-Battelle | 2024 State WV is a 6’5″ 2024 guard/wing from Clay-Battelle High School who could be on the cusp of a recruiting frenzy if the right coaches see him in due time. Barr has the length and shooting skill set that college coaches seek and usually offer quickly. Barr is a well-known shooter in WV single A basketball and likely to put up some monster scoring games in school season.
Preston Luzader Preston Luzader 6’7″ | C Clay Battelle | 2025 State WV is a 2025 6’6″ forward/center from Clay-Battelle High School. Luzader introduced himself to the state in the state tournament last march putting up monster stats and receiving all tournament accolades. Luzader is very comfortable with being a post player and capable of knocking down mid-range jumpers. Height, length, skill are all characteristics of Luzader that will resonate with college coaches and get him on many short lists on the D2/D3 levels. Preston will play with the WV BlueChips as well as his high school team during league play.

Cruz Isaly Cruz Isaly 6’0″ | PG Williamstown | 2025 State WV is a 2025 6’0″ point guard from Williamstown High School. Isaly has a reputation for being a relentless defender and downhill distributor of the basketball. He has been in many conversations amongst recruiting circles and likely some of those will be on hand for these league games. Cruz will play for his high school teams as well as the WV BlueChips squad on a limited basis.

Jayden Bryant Jayden Bryant 6’4″ | SF Williamstown | 2025 State WV is a 2025 6’4″ guard/wing from Williamstown High School. He has turned many heads during the spring and summer displaying a smooth and accurate shooting stroke that can stretch defenses with 3’s or off the bounce. College coaches have already noticed the lengthy wing and will keep him within reach.

Parker Schramm Parker Schramm 6’1″ | SG Williamstown | 2025 State WV is a 2025 6’1″ guard from Williamstown High School. Schramm dazzled crowds in Charleston during the State Tournament as well as garnering 2nd team all-state honors this past spring. Schramm picks his scoring opportunities wisely and typically capitalizes. A long and athletic 6’1″, Schramm could soon have college suitors in his ear.
Dylan Ashley Dylan Ashley 6’3″ | SF Williamstown | 2024 State WV is a 2024 6’4″ wing/guard from Williamstown High School. Ashley has obvious athleticism once you see him on the floor and a wide range of skills. Perhaps his biggest value at the next level could be a defender. Recently offered by Waynesburg College, Ashley will likely have a decision to make between multiple D3 offers.
Payton Bunch Payton Bunch 5’9″ | PG Williamstown | 2024 State WV is a 2024 5’9″ point guard from Williamstown High School. Bunch is a fierce floor general and has a well-balanced skill set. A fierce and stout defender, Bunch has the possibility of grabbing the attention of a college program and making a roster.
