Elijah Foster Elijah Foster 6'4" | CG Cibola | 2024 State NM – Cibola
Foster possesses notable height for his position, capable of leveraging his already deep shooting range to an even greater degree. Possessing a compact and quick form, the guard is capable of stepping into shots multiple feet beyond the three point line. He does a great job jumping passing lanes, getting out ahead on those breaks to finish through incoming contests. His mobility and wide reach allow him to be a devastating off-ball defender, certainly an exciting season ahead for the senior.
Jayden Johnson Jayden Johnson 6'0" | SG Rio Rancho | 2024 State NM – Rio Rancho
Johnson is a flashy scorer around the rim, capable of utilizing his above average quickness and strength to score no matter the circumstances. The lefty was an active downhill scorer, complemented by a long hang time mid-air, effective at readjusting his shot to avoid an incoming contest. Another aspect of Johnson’s shotmaking versatility has been his ability to step into pull-up jumpers in the mid-range, not wavered by an incoming contest. Defensively, the guard is quick and strong, able to guard both backcourt positions. At his best in transition, Johnson has played a vital role spearheading fast breaks for the Rio Rancho program. Exciting opportunity for the guard to continue growing as a facilitator through his senior season.
Elijah Brody Elijah Brody 6'2" | SF West Mesa | 2024 State NM – West Mesa
Brody is an intriguing prospect, bringing a notably wide reach and capabilities as a two-way player. Effective deflecting passes at a higher rate than most prospects, he brings a tangible defensive skill set that may be leveraged on or off the ball. His wide reach allows to create a bit more space on crossovers, putting the defense into difficult positions to contain him. While attacking the basket, Brody possesses a strong frame, capable of taking bumps while he attempts to draw the foul.
Justin Mask Justin Mask 5'11" | SG Albuquerque Academy | 2024 State NM – Albuquerque Academy
Mask is a strong guard capable of leveraging his strength to get downhill for drives. While attacking the basket, the guard is consistently keeping his eyes up for passing angles. This past season, Mask was on full display as a facilitator for Albuquerque Academy, helping through the wide array of perimeter shooters on the program. He can hit you with fundamentally sound jump stops into chest passes or extend around the opponent for a bounce pass in the tight window. Ultimately Mask is a winning player, capable of making his teammates better at all times.
Julian Chavez Julian Chavez 6'2" | SG Valley | 2024 State NM – Valley
Chavez is a knockdown shooter, both from around the arc and while flowing into pull-ups. A patient scorer, the guard is most active getting to pump fakes and attacking the opposite direction his defender is rotating towards. His high release point allows him to comfortably step into shots regardless of incoming closeout, calm and collected at all times. Chavez shows value attacking downhill following ball screens, an intriguing area for his self-created shotmaking ability.
