Cyprus will be lead by two youngsters this year and they should be fun to watch as their coach is always in-tune with his players and will create a flow for the team he has. Koli has shown flashes of that talent he has as a bigger guard and also his work as a forward as well. He will have to be the guy this season as he has the skills to really take over and not have to defer. Xian is another young player that could come up with Koli and build a solid young duo and one of the youngest Duo’s in the state for sure.
Hunter
Hunter has a few tough guards that have a lot of experience. They are both playmakers that can really put pressure on you in the perimeter. They both have creating ability as well as shooting ability so they will not let you make them one dimensional. Dominick brings some elite shooting and he can score all over the floor including some really tough buckets off the bounce and out in the perimeter. Zaquel is another playmaker but he can really shoot the ball. Look for this duo to have a better statistical year as they both are prime to make a big jump.
Highlights
Taylorville
Kobe was one of the players last year that turned a lot of heads as he was scoring the ball well. Look for Kobe to pick off were he left off and have an impactful season this winter. Daniel is a bit off the radar but he can shoot the ball. If he can get that ball to fall like he has in some games he could be a 4 to 5 three-pointers a game. With Kobe creating and Danile shooting this duo could really make some noise in Region 4 this year.

West Jordan
These two players are built to play fast as they can both score the ball in a hurry. Last season Colton was playing with confidence and he was also playing a bit out of his mind. He had 6 games where he scored over 20 points in a game and one where he was a three-pointer away from 40 so this kid can go and we expect more of the same and even more consistency this season. Carter could be a sneaky good player that has size and shooting ability. That positional size will allow him to shoot over defenders and he will also be a zone buster you can put anywhere. West Jordan has some tuff guard lay but these two will set the tone.
