Sunday September 3rd I attended the Arizona TOP 250 EXPO at the Phhacility in Phx, AZ.

I watched every team play once and this is how they performed when they were on the main court. We start breaking down the All-EXPO teams one by one.

Here is the 5th Team breakdown:

[player_tooltip player_id='1382611' first='Desmone' last='Brooks'] Peoria

A fast lead guard who can score it a variety of ways. He can get downhill with a quick burst and make tough shots in traffic. He often cuts for back door layups and will hit the three off the dribble. He will drive and kick it to an open shooter and plays fast.

[player_tooltip player_id='1306044' first='Jake' last='Centner'] Flagstaff

A good sized wing forward who seemed to grow an inch or two. He is highly skilled and makes it look easy during stretches. He can step back off of his defender from mid to the three and he will score thru contact with his added size and weight. He rebounds well and makes good reads.

[player_tooltip player_id='2132589' first='James' last='Davis Jr'] Independence

A physical downhill wing is a handful. He can score it inside the paint in heavy traffic with multiple and-1's. He can shoot it from the perimeter but prefers to get to the rim. He will rebound in and out of his area and should have a big sophomore season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1591735' first='Antwan' last='Gilkey'] Paradise Honors

A long power forward who moves like a wing. He gets downhill using his long strides and can score it with runners and put backs off of rebounds. He can also face-up form mid-range and brings energy on defense to cover a lot of ground.

[player_tooltip player_id='2133624' first='Cyree' last='Jenkins'] Cholla

A dynamic undersized point guard with incredible speed in the open court. He can hit the three off the dribble and blow by his opponents to the rim. He unfortunately got injured early on and had to sit the rest of the game but not before he impressed.

[player_tooltip player_id='1901429' first='Jayden' last='Mangahas'] Desert Ridge

A quick fill in from his older brother who got injured the week before. The soph point guard can drive and kick it to a shooter with advanced court vision. He can hit the three off the catch and get downhill with bully ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1505672' first='Ryan' last='Leggitt'] Desert Ridge

A stronger framed guard with skill and toughness. He can get hot from deep from the three point line. The sniper has no conscience and will keep firing away hitting shots one by one. He rebounds well in his area.

[player_tooltip player_id='1633039' first='Joseph' last='Voorhees'] Premier Prep (Pictured)

A combo guard who can make plays and score. He can pull-up from mid-range and uses the floater game well. He has a quick first step to get into the lane and can step back from the three point line.
