The top returning scorer in the league, Grebin is a versatile scoring threat who can fill it up in a hurry from anywhere on the floor. We expect Stanton to be the top team in the league this season, and Grebin is their best player, making him a pretty easy selection for PPOY.
First Team
2024 Nolan Grebin Nolan Grebin 5'10" | PG Stanton | 2024 State IA (Stanton): 16.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 2.3 steals
Grebin is the top returnee for a Vikings team that we project to win the league this season. He’s a versatile scorer who led the team in scoring and assists last season.
2025 Braedon Godfread Braedon Godfread 6'3" | SF Sidney | 2025 State IA (Sidney): 15.7 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.5 steals, 2.0 blocks
Godfread is a bouncy athlete who provides the Cowboys with some versatility on both ends of the floor. At 6-3/6-4 he can defend multiple positions, pounds the glass on both ends of the floor, and finishes well around the rim.
2024 Qwintyn Vanatta (Essex): 14.3 points, 12.5 rebounds, 1.1 steals, 2.0 blocks
A strong, physical 6-4 forward, Vanatta was one of two Trojans to average a double-double last season. He pounds the offensive glass (4.6 a game), which helps contribute to his lofty point totals.
2025 Evan Gettler (Stanton): 14.1 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.4 assists
The Robin to Grebin’s Batman, Gettler is the Vikings’ top perimeter shooting threat, knocking down 72 3-pointers at a 35.6% clip. In addition to scoring at a high clip, he also provides some solid secondary playmaking.
2024 Matt Stile (Heartland Christian): 14.0 points, 9.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.9 steals, 57.7 FG%
A highly efficient scorer, Stile was dominant on the glass on both ends of the floor last season for the Eagles, pulling down 4.3 offensive rebounds a game. He accounted for nearly 32% of the team’s points as a junior.
