SubscribeIt is never too late to get into the mix with any players here in the state of Utah. With so much talent in this class these players are going to have to look outside of Utah to find a spot, although there is a few that might be able to land here locally. Here are a few players that we think should get offered or should pick up some more.
This kid is starting to really elevate his game on a mental and physical level. He is not a player that you dump the ball to and you will never get back. He truly reads the defense and he moves the ball. He is not a big time force the ball player as he uses his footwork to move and find cutters and shooters. He plays on both ends of the floor and his wingspan is impressive. Could be a solid D1 get and with these conferences moving around he is going to play against some top tier talent based on the offers he has currently.
Highlights
Otavio is a player that will catch you off guard with the talent he possess. Otavio has some bounce, he has some shooting ability and he is a tough cover when he attacks the rim. He has a lot of skills that can be valuable at the next level. He holds a D1 offer from a LM in NJIT but after this next year he could and should garner more attention. Last season he played on a team that played way too many players and with a new guy at the helm he should see more time and he will be able to show what he can do. If you’re a high level D2 come after this kid he can change the game as he is able to see the floor as a n incoming freshman.
This kid is impressive and hopefully with some consistency at the helm at Provo he will be able to do his thing. His ability to snake his way through the defense is absolutely impressive. He is off the radar and these NWAC schools that love getting Utah kids need to get him or go after him hard. He can score and he is a tough defender.
Tate is a solid shooter that has next level range he is another player that could find a home in the NWAC, D2 or NAIA. The thing that will help him even more is being on the floor more often. Tate is now at Bingham and he should be a solid player for them as he provides wing shooting and the ability to spread the floor over there for the Miners will allow other players to do their thing. Good size as a CG as well.
Highlights
Hayden is going ot be a steal especially at a small school. His strength and leaping ability is next level. He is now at a school that is loaded with talent so the minutes he gets you will be able to see that hard worker that runs the floor. He can play the 4 for a small school with ease.
