When it comes to players that can take over David has a solid game. He has a catch and shoot pocket that he gives passers to make it easy by providing a target and he is fluid in his mechanics. His high release allows him to hold that follow through high as he watches it go in. He can hit all over the floor and he also has some impressive range as he does not need to be toes on the line to get his shot off. You can run him off of screens and he can get the shot off with some elite quickness. Look for himt o be a much improved ball handler and rim attacker this year. He is going to be funt o watch.
Highlights
One of the best scoring guards in the state and at times he just makes it look easy as if he is just playing pick up. His in game flow when he is on the ball and dribbling is fun ti watch as he switches directions with quickness and he also uses a change of speed that keeps everyone off balance. He is a good shooter so you must stay up but he can blow by defenders. The most impressive aspect of his game is that he makes everyone around him better. We expect him to bring some more to the table this year especially off the bounce and with his range.
This kid is a bully down on the blocks as he gets the ball with his back to the basket and just goes to work with force and strength. Impressed with the way he can go over both shoulders with some touch. He has a knack for rebounding as he is in position and a difficult player to coral and box-out. He should have a softer touch and feel around the rim this year but this kid is an inside/outside threat.
High volume kid that can light up the scoreboard in a hurry. He has some elite range from deep and he is smooth off the bounce as he uses good footwork to create space. When he is on the ball he has some good stop and go and hesi’s that get him past his defenders. When he surveys the floor on those seek dribbles you need to stay close because he is setting up a shot and if you give him too much space he has a green light and he will make you pay.
Great size for a CG that has some attacking skills. Look for him to be a big time stock riser now that he should see the floor even more. He can score inside and out but his attacking skills are something that he should lean on this winter.
