Tyler is a 3-level Scorer who is extremely quick and explosive with the rock in his hands. He is a two-way player, as not only does he impact the offensive end of the floor, but he also causes major disruptions on the defensive end with his elite-level play. He doesn’t take plays off and has to be discussed in the opponent’s scout because he can single-handedly disrupt everything opposing teams try to do on a given night. He is a player who plays on and off the ball, and his production does not dip when moving between the two.

Kam is a player who brings the most versatility to the floor for the Bulldogs. He plays inside and out and can defend all five positions. His size is a major factor and causes problems for smaller opponents and is a match-up nightmare for bigger players. He has a good IQ, will bring senior leadership, and has the experience to help his team potentially make a deep playoff run. Kam’s size and physical play will be key as they will enable him to affect all areas of the stat sheet, especially when it comes to his activity on the glass.

Jordan is another player that the Bulldogs bring to the floor that can defend all five positions. Jordan has good positional size, and his length will be a factor in the interior. He will also be able to stretch the floor as he shoots the 3-ball extremely well. Jordan gives his team a lot of options offensively and defensively; if there is ever a need to adjust on the fly defensively, Jordan can shift from showing to trapping to switching without issue.
When asked about two players who will be key pieces of the puzzle for his team this season that were not listed in the top three above, Coach Mickles quickly mentioned the following two players:
Tevin Siger is a sniper who can shoot the trey ball with the best of them, and he will be a really good defender, helping which, on paper, seems to be a team that can be very tough for opponents’ offensive execution. Laeton Smith Laeton Smith 6'3" | SF Andalusia | 2026 State AL (6’3/G | F/’26) is a great new addition to the Bulldogs, as he transferred over from Straughn. He has good positional size and is sneaky athletic. With a lot of attention being focused on the guys above, look for Laeton to be able to provide scoring from the perimeter, as he is a very good shooter from behind the arc.
Coach Mickles wants to play 32-minutes of hell with the motto of ‘Out Work ‘Em All!!’ Look for the Bulldogs to play a very fast-paced brand of basketball by pressing the length of the court defensively and pushing the tempo offensively off makes and misses.
When asked what it would take for his team to make a deep playoff run, make it to the Final Four, or even win the State Championship, he told me that his team must stick to their identity and be who they are collectively. He believes that his team will be right there when it matters the most as they return all five starters from last year, and with the addition of two transfers, which will provide depth and size to a very talented squad, look for the Bulldogs to be right in the mix come late January.
