Here are scout’s notes on the events top four per camp evaluators.
Jackson Clark Jackson Clark 6’3″ | SG George Washington | 2024 State WV , a recent transfer from Hurricane to George Washington, has had a great spring and summer in AAU. Capping it all off with an outstanding camp performance with multiple college coaches in the gym, he’s set himself up for offers during the 23-24 season. The previously highlighted, athletic wing definitely catches your eye right away when he hits the court.
Scout’s notes: Great frame and length at the wing. Lefty who has great scoring instincts and nice elevation on his pullup jumper. Will be a very good small school college player.

Griffin Boggs Griffin Boggs 6’5″ | SF Elkins | 2024 State WV has been on the radar of WV BlueChips since last year when Boggs was on a super talented state tournament team dotted with D2 level talent. His turn will be in the 23-24 season to display his broad skill set. A great camp performance is the perfect set up for this coming school season.
Scout’s notes: Wing with alot of upside. Versatile player who can defend and play multiple positions and can score the ball in several ways. Showed that off all day. Very intriguing 2024 prospect.
Dylan Casto Dylan Casto 6’1″ | CG Sissonville | 2024 State WV has flown under the radar while at Ripley now takes his talents to Sissonville HS and will get several chances to put up big numbers. A talented player at the point, Dylan has the ability to step over to the two spot and score from deep.
Scout’s notes: Undersized guard but makes up for it with a nice skill set. Able to shoot the ball well and has a good handle. Displayed it well during small sided games.

Connor Balwanz Connor Balwanz 5’11” | PG North Marion | 2027 State WV is a name new to the WV prep hoops scene. The incoming freshman will likely be a starter for the North Marion Huskies team this upcoming season and possibly lead them in many statistical categories. His talent is more than obvious to scouts at a young age.
Scout’s notes: One of the best players in the gym despite being the youngest. Great composure and poise with the ball, handles pressure super well and crafty at the rim. Super skilled, played well during the 5 on 5 session.
